Knowing how bot AI works can help you breeze through these very easily.

The BOT Ai gives it's attention to an enemy if it sees it, and will pursue that target, while it's in the 'pursuit' mode, a second player can ambush and confuse the bots for a second or so. You might be able to wipe an entire bot team if you use this properly.

In the later rounds, bots start having rifles and scouts. Don't let the phrase 'Just a bot' into your head, if you get attention of every single bot, you will be bombarded and killed if you are out in the open.

The strategies is to eliminate them very quickly OR pick them off one by one.

Also, I noticed. On wave 8 and onward, Heavy Bots start to spawn, they are Bots with increased hitpoints. I have not noticed them being more skilled, just overall more tanky. A few headshots with any weapon will take them down easily.

If you fail missions a load of times in a row, the bot difficulty will get easier, so, if you are trying to get things done quickly, you can give the bots a few rounds until their difficulty gets lowered. (You will be notified when their difficulty get's lowered in the chat box in the bottom left corner.

Normal missions, just require a certain amount of kills with a certain gun. The obvious strategy is to get that gun as soon as possible and start earning kills. Some strategies include, if the mission is difficult enough, you can amass a large money pool, and restart. So you start Wave 1 with enough cash to buy that weapon. (If the weapon can only be obtained by drops, that strategy will have no use)

Some missions have the, (Cannot buy on this mission) tag, and it means what it says, the B button has no function and you cannot open the buy menu!

Missions with this usually revolve you picking up weapons the bots drop. Remember to give the weapon to the better player and let him get the kills, if you get kills with the wrong weapon, it will not count. You might actually have to do an extra round or two depending on how many kills you wasted with other weapons.

When a mission has this tag, it means you need to obtain the amount of cash for the first few rounds, and THEN get the kills, This eliminates the (throw the round to go back to wave 1) strategy.

A strategy me and my partner use, is to get the better player all the kills.

Remember call of duty: Zombies? Knife kills give more cash. You can use the knife against the bots to obtain the gun (AWP, Negev) early enough as Wave 2, if you manage to kill all the bots with a knife.

Eventually you want both players to get that weapon asap, so not only one player does everything, and you have a reliable backup.

At the time of writing this guide, The only compound mission I have played was the first, where you have to infiltrate the compound and get a hostage out. It's pretty simple. Just go about the mission, and to continue, You need to kill every single bot. You cannot just run again.

I reccomend picking up a smoke grenade at the begining, The last part of the mission, While you are waiting for the helicopter to pick you up, The bots bombard you. It can be really annoying holding that position. So when the helicopter is almost there, you can hide in the smoke. Right in front of the truck, and you will be in the hostage rescue zone once it spawns.
