Description
Do you hate how later in the game every region become infertile wasteland? Climate Change and repeated razing make farming unable to make enough food and income. Why aren't there any way to counteract this? Can't land be irrigated and fertilized to make them more suitable for cultivation?

This simple mod aims to do this, by utilizing Water and Sanitation Buildings to be able to increase fertility of regions where it is built.

Just imagine: Canals irrigating fields, Qanat channel water from far beneath the desert, Dikes controlling floods, Reservoirs reserve water for times of drought, Aqueducts carrying water far from miles away, and Sewers from countless Latrines collects the combined power of human excrement suitable for fertilizer. All of this can be utilized for the benefit of the Civilization.

The Effect starts at Tier 2. Minor Waterworks for Eastern and Barbarian, Major Waterworks for Romans.

Tier II (Troughs/Canals/Latrines/Reservoir) : 2 Irrigation, +1 Fertility Bonus
Tier III (Dikes/Qanat Network/Aqueduct/Sewers) : 6 Irrigation, +2 Fertility Bonus
Tier IV (Canals/Fountains/Aqueduct Network/Cloaca): 12 Irrigation, +3 Fertility Bonus

In The Last Roman DLC Campaign, Minor Sanitation Buildings yields fertility bonus.

Utilizes the same Fertility Increase mechanism as Ma'rib Dam and Sacred Groves of Mokosh in-game.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
----------------------------------------------
Q: Is this mod compatible with...
A: Its compatible with most mods. Except Radious.

Q: Is that incompatibility with Radious is why Cloaca and Aqueduct Network only yields +1 Fertility?
A: Yes.

Q: What? Why? Can't you do something to make it compatible with Radious?
A: Due to the structure of Radious Mod itself, I cannot make my mod compatible with Radious. The only way this mod can be made compatible with Radious Mod, is that the change must be done from Radious Mod side, not from this mod.

So ask Radious about it, not me.

@Toshiro Mifune "Most mods except Radious" Radious is a total conversion so is 1212AD. Use your problem solving skills.

W-why would it be compatible with 1212AD?

The mod seems to be working for me. Fertility effects only apply from the buildings listed in the description. The only thing that's weird there is the level 1 "Waterworks" city sanitation building not being included, as it is a broad term and the long-version building description explicitly mentions water use for agriculture.

Is this mod not working with the latest vanilla update? I have no other mods downloaded, but sanitation buildings aren't functioning any different than before.
