Cerberus Class (WIP)

Description
Flexible sniper jack of all trades. Main focus is sniping but as secondary weapon the soldier can use either a pistol, a psi amp or a gremlin.

Perk tree has two branches, one sniper/assault rifle focused (damage) and the second branch is more an utility branch . Depending on the perks selected, be aware of properly select your secondary weapon. The prek tree is as follows, per rank, (Squaddie, Corporal, Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain, Major, Colonel)

1) Lone Wolf:
Ever vigilant
Covering Fire
Death from Above
Rupture
Chain Shot
Killzone
Deadeye

2) Gambit:
-
Hack
Haywire Protocol
Domination
Field Medic
Capacitor Discharge
Null lance

As it can be seem the class is a jack of all trades master of none. It is a fantastic support unit as it helps to compensate the other classes, or at least I think so. My idea was to have a soldier able to pack a punch and to provide some support to my Specialists or my Psi operatives.

All the perks are vanilla.

As this is my frist mod based on a Reddit Tutorial (link provided below) and some research on my own, the mod is bound is to have some defficencies. I don't know how to code in the SDK, therefore it takes more time than usual to solve the known issues. Any help is appreciated.

The known problems so far which I am trying to figure out how to solve:

1. Not all the abilities are updated when the character progresses. I used the Sharpshooter template and tweaked it with the Spcialist, but i am not able to increase the Hacking stat. The Aim stat is OP right now, and I am still figuring out how to improve this. Health and other stats are working fine.

2. I want to implement an inventory check subroutine to help the user and disable during missions those skills that are tied to a particular secondary weapon. For exmaple, I want it to disable domination, if you have a Gremlin equipped, otherwise if you use Domination with a Gremlin, you go nowhere as the damage and efficiency is zero and you lose the turn for that soldier.

3. When trained from Rookie to Squaddie sometimes it displays missing information. I don't know where this info is in order to fix it.

4. I left the pistol as secondary weapon, just in case you pick all the Lone Wolf perks. It is just an adornment or a cosmetic thing if you like as none of the abilities are related to the pistol. You can equip a gremlin or Psi Amp or nothing at all. It is up to you.

This is my first mod ever in XCOM 2, and I'll appreciate any positive feedback, help or comments. If you know how to fix these issues or have ideas on the class improvement, please message or email me.

Thank you all for the feedback. Life has been very challenging and I had to put on hold all my projects. I was modding this game and F4 and Skyrim. I love to mod actually. I'll get back to it soon. If you have more ideas and suggestions, please let me know them If you have issues, please report them and if you know of fixes, I'll really appreciate them.

oh and a suggestion too, put squadsight and soulfire.
Why soulfire? well it's class as a jack of all trades? right. So it can use basic skills of most secondary weapons.

armor is not equipabble but its an easy fix. Just add the lines

+AllowedArmors=soldier
+bAllowAWCAbilities=1

Add them after the line for "allowed weapons" and before "squaddie"

This class is actually really epic, I love it. However, I think a squadsight option would be pretty nice, considering the sniper rifle isn't as useful at mid-range combat where the soldier can see on their own.

I'll post it later on today. But if you look the last two screenshots you can see a skill tree per char. None combined, so you can see the full tree. :) Hope that this helps meanwhile and thanks for the request.
