You'll probably need:

- Counterstrike: Source

- Half Life 2, episodes 1 and 2


Anyways, this was a quick 1 week build I decided to make in order to learn more about displacements and cubemaps. It's not designed for any gameplay, and I doubt I'll come back to this map to fix or add anything to it; maybe I'll run a quick pass just to fix the stupid things, idk.

I am aware that a few props are not aligned properly and kinda fly all over the place when the map starts, and there are a few lighting errors as well.

Either way, I'd like feedback on quality + any suggestions for improvement and what you'd like to see in the future.

EDIT: I ran one more compile fixing *most* of the problems with the original map. It should look pretty nice now, with cubemaps and such.

@Deadpootaden Yeah, I'll drop like 16 spawnpoints down or something. I'm not setting it up for TTT, though. I'll be releasing a different map for that soon enough.

@SamReye Just to ask could you add more spawnpoints so people can play this map on gamemodes like TTT and Murder?

@zyroe Thanks! The paintings are a reflective lighting error that I was too lazy to fix. Type mat_specular 0 to fix it, but the floor reflections, etc will probably disappear too. My next project is polishing a really old map and releasing it for TTT/Murder/Homicide, but I'll probably go back to something dark once I'm through with that.

absolutely awesome creepy map. i love the big back yard, and the house itself is great for posing. The Paintings have a small issue of being crazy brihgt white. not sure if its a lighting error or a missing texture. regardless, its a fantastic map. also great for a survival horror roleplay
