(JEM) Nuclear Missile Range Extension

Kuvaus
Extends the range of Atomic Bombs, Nuclear Missiles, and Guided Missiles (only slightly). Best used on larger maps ;) You can also edit the range!

Changes:

Guided Missile: 15 | Original: 8

Atomic Bomb: 40 | Original: 10

Nuclear Missile: 100 | Original: 12 (Seriously.)

Want to edit the range to your liking?!
Go right ahead!

Just open up my mod file in My Documents\My Games\Civilization 5\MODS\(JEM) Nuclear Missle Range Extension and open the XML file with notepad.

You can edit the (Set Range="100") to change it however you want. Then just press save,
NOT SAVE AS.

EXAMPLE:
To change the range to 50 instead of 100 for the nuclear missile, just change it like this:
______________________
Set Range="50"
Where Type="UNIT_NUCLEAR_MISSILE"

Set Range="40"
Where Type="UNIT_ATOMIC_BOMB"
Set Range="15"
Where Type="UNIT_GUIDED_MISSILE"

This is giving me an issue and only now after I've had it for so long. When I enter nuke mode in a nuclear missile, the game runs at about 1-2fps for a few seconds then stops responding completely. Atomic bombs and the Orbital Ballistic Missile from the Advanced Air-Naval-Ground Units Megamod works fine, but nuclear missiles give this issue after turn 5.

Blackbeard that's because the values are just too high (pretty much a huge map timsed by 4), 200 might be the upper limit of what a high end gaming pc can handle. Plus if 120 is good enough to nuke any country that is acuatlly close enough to go to war with (not spending 10 turns moving units there).

Hey i changed the records for all 3 weapons (999/100/999) and since then the game allways crashes when i try to build a nuke.

i tried to lower the value to 500 but it doesnt seem to work still crashes

You can find a CD key for the civ 5 complete edition on Amazon which includes all the DLCs, for ~$15, that's how I got my copy.

But as far as the "Mutiplayer? Yes" thing, it just means when I made the mod I checked the box that allows it to be loaded into the game in multiplayer. Getting mods to work with multiplayer is a little more complicated than that though.
