Description
The Locust II is high performance craft built to replace the previous Locust bomber. It has much better agility and acceleration than the original and carries 50% more rocket launchers. Weapons are now sequenced for improved damage. Like it's sister ship, the Wasp II, the Locust II has been designed to be mass produced easily via it's ventral connector and merge block. The Locust is very fast and equipped with a more capable ECM system than the Wasp, but it lacks any defensive weaponry and so should be escorted by fighters.

Survival Afterburner Instructions
In order to use the the afterburners effectively you need to be aware of some key points, hydrogen thrusters are very powerful, but have some limitations.
  • In order for the Hydrogen Thrusters to work, the oxygen generators must be switched on and processing ice. You may need to split up the ice between them so they are all working.
  • Each Oxygen Generators can only produce enough Hydrogen for 1.5 small hydrogen thrusters, this means a maximum of 4.5 thrusters will be in operation at any one time. This will be about enough for thrust in two directions.
  • Even though there are only a few hydrogen thrusters on this ship, two small hydrogen thrusters produce more thrust than a single large ion thruster. You should notice the difference in when you turn them on.
  • You will not be able to use the hydrogen afterburners all the time, but they do provide an advantage when evading or chasing down enemies.

Oh the built in repair projection - does not include the merge block on the subscribed version.

@Dunewolf I'm using them as plating, similar to how i use catwalks on the large grid

I use this as my go to ship to tear up a pirate fleet. though I must ask - whats with all the LCD screens that are blank?

@Nitro Stride! I think that it's supposed to run out fast, they are called afterburners because they give you a sudden boost of speed.

@Nitro Stride! It's not a mistake, I explained the lack of tank in the description.

im happy to see someone made the same mistake as me and uses hydrogen thrusters with no tank
