How to edit sounds
So in this guide i will be showing a quick and easy way on how to replace sounds in the editor.

What you will need:

  • Audacity, a free and nice sound editor.
  • A sound to replace the other sound.
  • The editor.

Most if not all of the sounds can be found in content/sounds.

Before we start, we have to make backups of our files that we are working on inside a folder;
in order to to that we have to do a BULK EXPORT in a new folder, it can be whatever name for that new folder.

next we zip up that folder; right click send to zip folder.

Now all we have to do is open a soundfile in Audacity, then and import another sound from the unzipped folder.

Copy paste the track name and paste the other track name into the imported sound.

also be sure that the imported sound is at the rate of what ever sound you are working on.
In this case go to Tracks > Re-sample Set to 41000Hz or whatever rate it is.
I would also HIGHLY recommend on making sure that the sound not overlapping the other if you're doing cutscenes.
you can just simply cut part of the imported sound off.
Next delete the older track, you won't be needing it and export file > export multiple > using track name.

Or if you'd like you can just export the audio and overwrite the older wav file or mp3 using file > export audio.
Wrapping it up
Finally all you have to do is either export as .MP3 or .WAV
If you're going to do MP3 you'll need to get a encoder for Audacity.
Get it here: http://lame.buanzo.org/#lamewindl under Lame_v3.99.3_for_Windows.exe hyperlink (jump straight to windows downloads).

You should choose EXE, after that install from exe and restart Audacity (if it's open).
Also i would be careful, plenty of ADs on that page; unless if you're using adblock.

To finish this all off all you'll need to do is to re-import the sound file(s) inside a folder from content sounds, depending on what you've edited.

After changes have been made you'll have to cook it as a TC and publish it wherever.
