Welcome to the first step of beginning your Journey! You might've known to select single player, and then new game, but if you didn't well I just told you. The game will load up a complete white screen with some "Wake Up" sounds. The white screen will fade into a bedroom. You are sealed at the moment, but do as the instructer says to complete the Wake up sequence. After some "Look ups" and "Look Down" orders, he commands you to go stare at the painting on the wall. To move, use WASD, or if your using a controller, the left stick. It should be next of the bed on your right (From bed view, or left if front bed view). Then go back to your bed, and use the bed (Defalt would be E, if playing with a controller, use Sqare (PS3-PS4), or X (XBOX360-XBOXOne if using a controller) it will do the same white screen, but your room will look gloomy, and depressing, but it will be fine. Knocking will be at your door (The hallway in which you cannot enter in the other bedroom). Go at the door, and it will automaticly open itself, and a metal sphere ball will scream, and say some random complement. His name is Wheatly, and he's gonna be your helper in the game... until the final chapter... But let's not spoil the ending! He will ask some questons and some odd things about brain damage (Which didn't happen at all to you, I think) and then some rumbling happens after he goes through the roof. After the rumbling, he will ask you 2 things. The first is that is to say something, which in fact is the jump button (SPACE, X (PS3-PS4) A (XBOX 360-XBOXOne)) then do the same thing for 'Say Apple, APPLE'-Wheatly. After that's done all you need to do is watch for a Big Black thing called 'Docking station'. During this he may say some stuff like something about 'Flippin Vegetables?'. When Wheatly crashes trough the wall, and says stuff about technical stuff gaunlets, you can now go on the broken glass, and appear a familiar sight from the first Portal game! You have to wait a bit until a swirling, blue portal that you can see your self with! You look weird, but go through the portal and make your way to the door in the hall. Upon opening, you see a big, red, pressure plate commonly known as a button. You also see a door, and a big cube. Well, here come ol' E button to help ya' out! Grab the Cube, and place it on the button. The door will open, but half of the door is blocking the way. You can still go through it, and upon going through the second door, you pass a wavely grid known as a Enacipation Grid. It will disintigrate any test object it touches, (Ex, Cubes, radio, etc) except You, and a tool capable of the name-of-the-game aspect. The elevator is a level ender. entering it will take you to the next test.
