"It has been years since TF2 has increased the backpack space capacity limit, yet they have added tons of new items and effects, including killstreaks and decorated weapons, both of which have many combinations for each weapon.

The current backpack space limit is 2,000 slots ( 40 in game pages ). My edit increases it to 4,000 slots ( 80 in game pages ). At this screen size, which is 1600 x 900, it was pretty easy to add the pages, other than making sure everything was the correct color and lined up properly. There was enough space to add the two rows of pages without having to adjust anything else. However, the much smaller sizes may have difficulty fitting in the extra rows, particularly the 640 x 480 resolution, so it may require some sort of scrolling system in order to have that many pages.

The item server may also need to be upgraded in order to handle the heavier load."
