SEAL Class

Description
The SEAL is an adaptable soldier. They can either excel at dealing damage and striking from the shadows or as a capable point man who relies on superior defenses to dispatch their foes. They make use of assualt rifles and gremlins.

This is my first mod. Any bug reports are greatly appreciated! I'm also interested in getting the class balanced so any feedback in that regard is also welcomed. I was just trying different things, so I imagine some skills are overtuned, some undertuned, and the tree could also use rearranging.

Skills (asteriks indicate it is configurable in the XcomSEALAbilities.ini file):

Squaddie
1. Intrusion Protocol (from Specialist)
2. Ghost Protocol - Allows the targetted soldier to enter concealement (1* charge)

Corporal (Hence forth, 1 indicates left side of the skill tree and 2 the right)
1. Stick and move - Fire a shot and then move (3* turn CD)
2. Harrassment Protocol - Sends the gremlin to do a small amount of damage (3* turn CD). Doesn't end turn or break concealment.

Sergeant
1. Shield Protocol - The gremlin creates a shield around the target (Lasts 2* turns, 4* turn CD) Strength is based on gremlin used (3*, 5*, 7*).
2. Gas Protocol - The gremlin does a small amount of damage to an area and releases a gas cloud (1* charge)

Lieutenant
1. Hold the line - take a free shot on enemies moving or using an ability within 4* squares
2. Pin Point Accuracy - Permanently adds 1* Armor Piercing, 1* damage, and 10* crit chance.

Captain
1. Team Leader- Adds 15* aim, 10* defense, and 5* crit chance to the soldier and squad mates within 8 squares
2. Gut shot - Chance to create a bleed effect on the target that does damage over time, impairs mobility and aim (all configurable, different levels for how successful the attack was). It can also cause disorientation on very successful hits.

Major
1. Battle Hardened- Adds 2* armor, 2* HP, and 10* will to the soldier
2. Fade to Black - 50* percent chance to enter concealment after a kill shot. It applies at the end of your turn.

Colonel
1. Stunning Protocol- The gremlin releases a blinding flash in an AOE that causes stuns for 2* turns (rest of yours + the enemies) and afterwards leaves the enemy disorientated for another turn. This disorient has additional penalties of 20* aim and 10* crit penalties. (1* charge)
2. Headshot - A devestating shot that provides 60* crit chance, 4* damage. On flank shots it provides 10* aim. (3* turn CD)

Credit to the author of the rogue mod. I dug through the code a lot when I was first figuring things out :)
Credit the members of Longwar Studios for doing an awesome job and their code helped me figure some stuff out.
Credit to the xcom2mods community over at Reddit. I mostly just lurk and pick up bits and pieces of useful information.

=====================================================
Change Log(5/12/16)
1. SEALs should be able to equip armor again (thanks for the patch!)

Change Log (4/3/16)
1. Harrassment protocol - bug fix - doesn't end turn now. Changed animation as well.
2. Pin Point Accuracy - balancing - changed to 1 Pierce and 1 Damage.
3. Team Leader - balancing - changed to 10 Defense and 5 Crit. Raised range to 8 squares.
4. Stick and Move - code behind - changed the name behind the scenes so it should play nicely with other mods.

I think removing the ability of Gremlin concealing others in favor of a self only conceal was a mistake. There used to be cool tactical interactions that are now removed.

I didn't have any plans for it sadly. Sorry about that.

uhhhhhg you people and your junky broken LW2. The new DLC will make LW2 obsolete anyway so forget that junk I just hope this class get's updated with the DLC for the new skill tree system.

Is there chance for LW2 update?
Soldier that was target of GhostProtocol become stealth but he triggers enemy pods. They don't see him but they become active and execute something like patrol moving action. Sometimes it can destroy everything.

Does this work with LW 2?

hey bro, some of the unique skills arent working with "a better AWC" more specifically the skill that increases armor, health, and will. My soldiers have the extra skill but they dont recieve the extra armor or health!

Hey man. I just gotta tell you. That HOLDTHELINE skill is off the chain. I love that skill. I use it for other classes as well. Big-ups to you.

Hey there, thanks for the mod. Is there anyway to configure how much damage harrasment protocol does? It does too much damage once u get upgraded gremlins esp with grimy's loot mod upgrades, also it bypasses armour
