How to get a high score

Hi folks,

it is actually not that hard to get a high score on this game, I just wanna point out a few things that made it easier for me...

You probably know about the 2x multiplier whenever you fill up your basket completely, preferably with stars of course (ice only slows you down), that shows up either on the right or left side? The 2x multiplier appears on the side that is farther away from the position you picked up the last star. Use it as often as you can. Sure you can go for it every single time, and this strategy works perfectly...,

BUT

the stars are speeding up and after you reach like 2 k points
you should wait while in slow-motion until you see the location of the next star appearing on the top, and then decide whether its doable to catch it after the 2x deposit or whether to be on the safe side. Keep an eye on the wind direction and strength.

I know you want it, I wanted it , but impatience is not a good advisor here. Better to get the regular score than loosing a life, right? Unless you haven´t an active basket speed-up you hardly won´t make it in time, if it comes down at the opposite side.

Oh, and really try to avoid the "slow star" thing. While it sounds promising giving you more time to catch them, the slow speed only means the stars are slowing down, the appearance doesn´t slow down though, so when the timer runs out you have less time to react and catching the next star.

You might want to buy a speed-up basket buff before you start, just in case...

Cheers

I would also advise "leaning" toward the next star when catching them. That is, if you are catching a star on the left side of the screen "lean" your bucket to the right, catching the star on the left edge of the bucket. Using the right edge if you are to the right of center. That way you are always poised to react to a star fallling on the opposite side and have that extra milli-second or two to react.
