Building a Scavenger

This mission will assume that you are aware of how to control your movement and give basic commands through your comm channel.


Your first objective is to build a scavenger and then escort it to the biometal deposit.
Press 5 to select your recycler through your comm channel. Then press 1 to start building a scavenger.

While your scavenger is building (about 5 seconds) please choose a tank from those on offer behind you. Simply run into a tank to take control.

Your scavenger should now have finished building. It will immediately start looking for scrap.
Defending your scavenger from attack
I suggest following the Scavenger in your tank closely while looking out for danger. Eliminate the threats and ensure the Scavenger is kept safe. (Left Click to shoot)
You will soon be warned about another scavenger that is currently under fire. A target reticle will appear on your screen directing you to the Scavenger that needs assistance.

When the threat has been eliminated return to base to complete the mission.

thank god they're still making early 90s/ 2000s pc titles, nothing like horrendous polygonal graphic quality to heighten the mood x) are there any patches that make the game easier to install on win10?

Also, T targets whatever's closest to your reticle. Once you target an enemy, you keep your reticle not on it, but on the lead predictor (the tiny white/red diamond) - this is the only aim-assist in the game.

If you opted to use the Bobcat, the Hornets have to be locked onto a target. Hold down the fire button; a yellow 'acquiring' circle will pop up around the target. When it turns red, release to fire the missile.

It's all coming back to me now. Pick the tank with the birdface, it has rockets that one-hit-kill the soviet tanks. Travel out to the scrap area "B4 making your scavenger", this gives you a jump on their attacks. Do not waste your rockets, aim well and take out enemy tanks! WIN! :)

Played the original, can't remember it being this hard - I keep running out of ammo
