Blast Tyrant battleship, v2.03 upgrade

Description
A complete overhaul of the Blast Tyrant. Since the shield update didn't happen it's unfinished.
Has no shields, smoke or decoys, armor patchy in places and there are lots of gaps for HEAT to spawn.
Still puts up a decent fight, armor can take quite a beating.

Manual controls are I J K L, I and K only work when the "Propulsion" mainframe is "On" or "Off" (otherwise the AI has control).
There is a gunner position on each side at the bottom of the control tower, leave the propulsion AI in combat mode and shoot things up with the railguns.

Stats:
  • 28550 blocks
  • 1.02M material cost
  • 25 m/s max speed, 4°/s turnrate
  • 200m length, 33 width, 37 height
  • ~500K energy/sec from steam turbines
  • 7.2M battery storage, 287K electric engine output

Armament:
  • 4x2 500mm 16 RPM heavy railguns. 1200 m/s muzzle velocity, 90K damage with 30 AP, 0.01 sec pen fuse with a 360° frag warhead. 0.07° inaccuracy.
  • 2x4 500mm 16 RPM universal railguns. 780 m/s muzzle velocity, 40K damage hollowpoint with a HE warhead. 0.22° inaccuracy.
  • 110K DPS 2Q laser. 85 AP, 1 combiner with 0.22° inaccuracy on each side, a 0.28° on top. No wavefront.
  • 96x 6m "Bellyrub" lua torpedos. 76 m/s speed and ~3000m range, components are Lua/5 HE/fuel/ballast/3 propeller/fin. They attack from below.
  • 64x 7m "Scourge" lua thumper missiles. ~220 m/s speed and 3500m range, components are thumper/2x360° frag/Lua/7 fuel/2K variable thruster/2 fins. Cruise at 400m altitude and whip down at the end.

Defenses:
  • 30K DPS continuous LAMS. Nodes distributed along the ship.
  • 70 RPM 400mm rail flak CIWS: 386 damage, 79m radius, 350 m/s muzzle velocity, 0.27° inaccuracy.
  • Side armor: metal/HA/HA/alloy/3m air/metal.
  • Deck armor: at least 1m wood/1m metal/1m HA.
  • Bottom armor: 3m metal.

Detection/stealth:
  • The meat are gimbal cameras, laser rangefinders, 90° radars and 90° sonars(with some special backups for extreme circumstances). Unfinished but works well enough.
  • Can be detected from neighboring planets.

Railguns are drawing a bit more than what's optimal, didn't have patience to add shields so just increased their clock rate from 0.6 to 0.8.

This thing is so not nice.... Even 'unfinished' it is sinister. Great job, I hate it.

The missiles are just slapped on a gutted version of this one, no defenses and ammo hanging in the turret wells so will get butchered in combat:

Seems like shield update will take ages to happen, putting up the version without shields in case somebody is interested.

I will be watching for when that is released, now I will just have to find a way to kill it somehow......

Yep, the overhaul is already ~80% done.
With the unity 5.6 port performance is greatly increased so it's now 27 m longer / 4 wider,
with all systems getting a cleanup / upgrade.
Thanks to laser / HEAT air gap / HA changes block count is still <30K and cost actually decreased.

Just waiting for shield changes to finish it up, still got a 12x25x15 empty section for turbines / other systems depending on how updates pan out.
It already easily kills all the godlies with LAMS as the only active defense.

With the new block updates, shield changes, and many other things in 2.0, will the blast tyrant be updated again?
