HOW TO PLAY REALISM MODE
If you already have a save file, then your game will begin in classic mode. Hit 'esc' to open the save menu and choose realism mode.

1. Angler


Catch an Anglerfish in Realism mode.


2. Attraction [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


He'll see you coming from a mile away!

Yo have to equip "Attract" to your rod in all slots to get this achievements.
3. Avoidance [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Well, you won't be catching him anymore.

You have to equip "Repel" in three slots on your rod.
4. Bagu


Catch a Bagu in Realism mode.

5. Boat Master


Unlock the Great Boat.
6. Boom! [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Scare away 15 or more fish with a single bomb.
7. Bright Idea


Buy a lightbulb lure. Costs $1,000.
8. Brute Force [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Planning ahead is for chumps.

You have to equip "Improved Crank" in five slots on your rod.
9. Casual Quester


Complete 10 quests.
10. Catfin


Catch a Catfin in Realism mode.

11. Clever Cat [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Catch a Shark with the basic rod.

1. Use the 2nd boat and the rod with gauge, improved crank!
2. Catch any small fish for medium bait.
3. Purchase a huge hook. ($5,000)
4. Catch Grumper above the Shark location. Let him pull your hook down.
5.Let the Shark eat your live bait with the hook then try to pull it up carefully.


12. Come Here!


Upgrade your rod with Attract.
13. Core Quester


Complete 25 quests.
14. Disturbing the peace


Catch a Bonefish in Realism mode.



You need the great boat, rocket, lightbulb, bomb and detonator upgrade for your rod.

Bonefish are slepping, detonate the bomb to wake them up.
15. Doing Good


Unlock the Good Rod.
16. Doing Great


Unlock the Great Rod.
17. Eyes Down Deep


Unlock the Radar.

18. Fast Forward


Upgrade your rod with a Sinking Lure.
19. Felish


Catch a Felish in Realism mode.

20. Fine Tuning [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Because being complicated is cool.

Buy "Decrease Sink Speed" and "Increase Sink Speed" upgrade on the same rod.
21. Georgian


Catch a Georgian in Realism mode.
22. Go Away!


Upgrade your rod with Repel.
23. Hardcore Quester


Complete 50 quests.
24. High Seas


Unlock the Good Boat.
25. Hurry up!


Upgrade your rod with an Improved Crank.
26. Impatience [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


It's not a virtue.

Equip Diving Lure to five empty slots on a rod.
27. Master of The Maw


Catch a Maw in Realism mode.
28. Master Quester


Complete 100 quests.
Hats can help: "Ball Cap" (increases max quests by 1) or "Quester's Beret" (increases max quests by 2).
29. Moga Moga


Catch a Moga in Realism mode.
30. Moo


Catch a Cowfish in Realism mode.

31. No Diving Allowed


Catch a Brimble in Realism mode.
32. Offshoring


Unlock the Basic Boat.
33. On The Brink


Catch a Torby in Realism mode.

Cause the extinction of a species.

Catch two Torby's fishes and sell them.

Upgrade your rod with Bait Guard.

It's a virtue.

You have to equip two "Suspending Lures" on the basic rod.
37. Peripheral Vision


Unlock the Minimap.
38. Perpetual Motion [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Casting? Never heard of it.

Get your live bait eaten by the shark and pulled down deep 3 times in the same cast.
39. Powerful


Unlock the Power Rod.
40. Quickening


Unlock the Quick Rod.
41. Rod Master


Unlock the Master Rod.
42. Scouter


Upgrade your rod with Scouting.
43. Shark Slayer


Catch a Shark in Realism mode.

44. Slow Motion


Upgrade your rod with a Suspending Lure.
45. Stealth Mode


Upgrade your rod with Crankbait.
46. Such Swag


Find a hat.
47. Suntouched [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]


Catch a large fish and throw it back to the river.
It can be done in normal and realism mode too.
48. Super Swag


Find a legendary hat.
49. The Struggle is Reel


Catch a Turgeon in Realism mode.
50. Tiger Tamer


Catch a Tiger Shark in Realism mode.
51. Trumble


Catch a Trumble in Realism mode.
52. Whee!


Catch a Seraph in Realism mode.
53. Escape the map [HIDDEN ACHIEVEMENT]

1. Go to the end of the map with your boat.
2. Press Q to jump in the water
