Description
The Rapier is the third member of HDY's Fast Attack Craft family, equipped with 18(!) gatling guns on custom mounts. This craft is exclusively designed to hunt down enemy Fighters, Bombers and other FACs, and destroy them with streams of projectiles. It is very maneuverable and has enough acceleration to keep up with most Fighters. In Combat, three or four of these beasts would fly at the rim of a fleet formation, and intercept any small crafts that might pose a threat to slow and vulnerable capital ships. Although the crafts armor is weak, its offensive potential is so big it can even tear holes in heavily armored capital vessels. The Rapier has become a favourite for some local pirate groups, who use its flexibility to take out the escorts in groups of two to five craft, and then prey on the now defenceless Freighters.

INFO ON THIS SHIP:
The Rapier is built with the rotor trick, utilizing standard rotors(doesn't work with advanced rotors i think). This means the ship is NOT SURVIVAL READY! So only Creative for you ;(

Thanks Lord Striker, however, I had the same thought, and it did not work for me. ;(

May I suggest using a connector to hook the small grid's cargo up with the large ship's to allow shared storage. If you could do that, this would be a kickass survival pirate ship.

Thank you! Took me a while to get it right tho. I also had inspiration from one of 5URG3's builds again.
@Dr. Dark Sith Skeeter It is a hell of a lot of fun yes! How did you do it? Tried it with advanced rotors, but somehow it didn't attach...
