Introduction

This achievement will require knowledge about combat skills. You don't necessarily NEED to unlock certain recommended skills, but you should have a much easier time with them unlocked. Try getting the 60-hit combo before you get the True Ending, but after you've unlocked all Skill Tiers. If you wait until after you get the True Ending...the Skyripper bonus replica will assist you in combat, possibly eliminating enemies you need to squeeze out hits from

Make sure not to pour your skills points into attack damage or Ultimate Sword Fu (because Ultimate Sword Fu will insta-kill enemies on reaching a 20 or 30-hit combo). True Sword Fu is recommended though.

Attack Speed Gem - increasing your attack speed will help you land more hits before an enemy tries to attack
Shield Breaker Gem - your combo meter will run out if your attacks are bounced back. Removing shields will help your combo meter stay intact

Strategy

To avoid being hit or running out of stamina, you can alternate using your sword with dashing through enemies. Start aiming for your combo at the beginning of an encounter. Dash does an incredibly small amount of damage, so you can squeeze many hits out of each enemy. Stun helps because you don't have to worry about having your combo interrupted. You must remove shields by some means, or risk running out of time on your combo meter.

I unlocked this achievement by just playing, no guide needed, don't even have gems unlocked yet and only have a few skill points unlocked

Imho, shield break and dash/dash through are the only mandatory ones.
Thanks for the guide tho, great summary of things that help. Hit 75 on final battle!

Those rabbit endings are hilarious. You're welcome :) As long as you have Shield Breaker, it seems like alot of players are able to get the achievement. The other stats just make it a little easier.

I just cleared this achevement, and it kind of took me by suprise. See, I was clearing out the "Rabbit" endings, and as such only had one Truth. On my third rescue opening choice (wanted to get those out of the way first, so also third playthrough total), I ended up noticing the achevement pop before even seeing that my combo had reached 60 in that opening level. So basically, I unlocked everything you recomended up to Teir 2, and had a Level 1 Shield Breaker gem. So between that, the increased enemy placement for beating that opening chapter so many times, and pure unfiltered Dumb Luck, I now have this achevement taken care of, and at least part of it is thanks to you. Thank you.

I managed to get a 71 hit combo using a max Void Blade, Level 3 Shield Breaker, Attack Speed, and Physical Resistance gems, Hook Shot (maxed), Shield Hooking (maxed), Dash (maxed), Dash through Enemies (1/3), Perfect Strike (maxed), True Sword Fu (maxed), Defensive Reflex (maxed), Attack Reflexes (maxed), Time Mastery (maxed), Aggressive Defense (maxed), Health (maxed), Speed (maxed), and Stamina (maxed) skills. The group I was fighting was the first large raven group you fight when going after Lapino again. I even screenshot it afterwards as proof.

if i might note i was able to get it at the very last fight you can do using the resistance gems and sheild breaker, and my skills were in all the time stops, health, and one in speed. i never used the hook and i think i dashed once or twice, i was mostly tossing the ravens into one another and off the ship as well as countering any that tried attacking me
