You've got multiple solutions to this problem: run towards it, and remember to keep looking at it. Although when it taze you, you'll shoot towards where you look with low accuracy, and at an uncontrollable rate, you should still be able to hit it. The closer you are, the higher the chance of you shooting it when you get tazed.

The alternate solution is to punch them. When you punch them, they are stunned for a brief moment of time.
