LJF34P Pegasus Shockwave Retrofit

The LJF43 was once feared by many steel striders pilots and beloved by the few aces that had the lucky chance to fly it. However, after the fracture of grey talon trade routes with the twilight guard the necessary materials required to run and maintain such a great fleet became increasingly scarce. Many of the lightweight but complex craft began to break down, their unadvantageous fuel economy leading to fewer and fewer combat deployments until finally, the entire squadron was retired.

With recently developed steel striders interceptors on the prowl and an alarming number of developing superpowers encroaching on twilight guard airspace, it was finally time to bring Pegasus squadron out of retirement. After a brief refurbishment and various technical upgrades, the LAF's most beloved high-speed interceptor is finally back to bring the fight to them!

LJF34-P is the next generation of Pegasus interceptor, carrying an up-sized payload of 4 LX4-Unicorn Airframe Interceptors (of the 4 smaller Artemis rockets) and a tuned-up engine assembly, the Pegasus Shockwave is ready to guard the skies against the ever-evolving enemies.

To avoid confusion with the LJF44, the new craft's designation was changed to LJF34-P. However most of the airframe remained unchanged and as a result the only paint work needed is for the new designation number!
