Version 1.2! Satan added

“Commander, ADVENT has been researching historical and religious figures of history long. They plan on using this information to better improve their Archon units and fit them with more appropriate attire. I advise you to focus your efforts on shutting these things down before they become more than a nuisance.”

The Archon Avenged mod adds three new (and more to come soon) archon units

The Arch Angel: Inspired by the arch-angels of Christianity, this Archon unit boasts higher health and defenses never before seen. However, with the heavier alloys it is created with; its speed is sacrificed. I recommend you clip the wings off this one before it’s too late.

Thoth: Inspired by the ancient Egyptian god of the same name, this Archon is believed to boast higher speed than anything we have seen before. Reports confirm it can fly across the battlefield in a blink of an eye. Fortunately, this unit has less health and thus can be taken out quickly. I recommend you avoid this unit commander, unless you want to end up like the pharaohs.

Satan: This Archon unit has taken inspiration from the prince of darkness himself. Intel suggest that this Archon is immune to fire and will easily counter you with a melee attack that burns back (beta form). Let us try to make this ex-angel fall once more.

Update: I do not have the original files to this mod due to my old laptop being destroyed. I cannot update it without these files. Im sorry for the inconvience

Does the satan get two moves and an attack?? I have one disorientated, he moves, stops, moves again, then laser beams me for a fair bit of damage.. And does his shots byoass armor?

like the new archons, but have to say some of them spawn extremely early. The archangel is probably the worst offender.

having 22 hp units spawn at force level 4 is kinda ridiculous, you may wanna look into changing that

Hello, i play this mod with ABA and ATE and Advent Ascension and i encountered one Archon SATAN together with a Advent Death Aegis in the first retaliation mission on legendary difficulty. Is it normal that they spawn so early in the game???

I've encountered one of each so far, and nothing else. Is that intentional? If so, then maybe they should be buffed a little, and have a reward for beating them. Nothing along the lines of alien king skins, but something cool and thematic nonetheless.

That being said, if you are meant to encounter more than one of these guys, it might be an issue with my mod lineup. I seem to be encountering nothing but ADVENTs, Codices and Sectopods lately, with a few Vipers/Spliced mixed in for taste. Regardless, well done. Archons were meant to look 'divine' and you have made these new ones fit the scheme. I suggest maybe adding in some Greek/Roman gods next, like Ares or Vulcan. Vulcan might have a modified Blazing Pinions that hits like an inferno bomb, while Ares might be hyper-focused on melee and have bonuses in that regard.
