Really! Other than extracting a few hints from the game's menu and the few reviews and discussion posts, I was totally lost. Even the usual game sites weren't helpful.

Hoping for "intuitively obvious," I followed the Main Menu's instructions by moving the mouse in the desired direction, clicking the LMB, and pressing W. ZAP! I was dead.

Repeat. I moved further, but with no control. Zap! Rapeat. Zap!

The game was part of an inexpensive bundle so I was ready to write it off as a waste as a no go, but I couldn't stop. Then I remembered the Let's Plays on YouTube and things started alling together.

What I Pieced Together

press the A and D keys to see your choices.
The easiest way to move is to keep the W key pressed and point the mouse where you want to go.

Kinda and get the 3 green boxes, which is practically impossible, even on lowest difficulty.
They can see you through items.
