Description
With Pogo, it's possible to beat all 30 zones with only one button. And a lot of the zones are beaten automatically by the rockets! Pogo can also detonate a bomb and keep flying, if it lands on top of the bomb.

You can watch my 30 zone run in the demo video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ReERpeMZ2_w

If you don't want to use Pogo for the one button challenge, you can easily map the controls to make it a user-friendly zone destroyer. (More info below.)

Also, Pogo was built without mods or file editing, although I did use a couple tricks and glitches. (More info below.)

Controls:

Left Control = control machine

Yep, that's the only button!

  • To go up, uniformly tap the button
  • To go down, let the machine fall.
  • To move laterally, tap the button to stay up, and hold it longer when the lateral flying spirals are pointing in the direction you want to go.
  • The grabbers don't have buttons mapped to them, so you have to beat each zone without letting go of anything. This can take multiple tries and some luck in a few zones.
  • To detonate a bomb and keep flying, land on top of the bomb so the balloons are far enough away from the explosion. The flying spirals are on grabbers, so they will continue to work after they are burned.

Alternate Controls:

To turn Pogo into a more user-friendly, multi-button flier, you can re-map the controls to the arrow keys. I demonstrate this toward the end of the demo video.

Map the two lateral flying spirals to "up," and the two bottom grabbers to "down."
The wheel is already set to left and right, so all you have to do is turn off its "automatic" mode.

Now start slaying some zones!

Tricks / Glitches:

I didn't use any mods or file editing to build Pogo, but I did exploit a couple glitches for optimum performance.

  • To save weight, I built Pogo using half-spacing.
    http://besiege.wikia.com/wiki/Half-Placement

  • If you set a wheel to speed 2, copy the setting, and paste it to a flying spiral, you can get the flying spiral to strength 2. The usual maximum is only 1.25.
I used this on the lateral flying spirals to make Pogo move faster. The flying spirals that do the lifting are still only set to 1.25 though, so Pogo could still beat the game without this glitch.

  • The flying spirals are on grabbers, so they keep working even after they are burned. I also included a spring to absorb shock, so that Pogo can detonate a bomb and keep flying.
I never use this during my 30 zone run, and I just included it to maximize the versatility of the machine.

P.S.

I'm posting this machine on my birthday, June 10th! I really hope you enjoy my machine. It was a lot of work, but also a lot of fun.

Half-spacing is using a wheel to offset a block by half a block length, like in this video:

what is half-spacing?

I think the most efficient way is to pick up a flaming ball, get a group of sheep to follow you, and set them on fire when you have a lot of sheep together. Then gather another group and do the same, until you've killed enough. That's how I did it in the demo video.

I challenge you to make an extremely stable, easy to control helicopter (or quad, any amount of rotors) with the least amount of blocks/space used!

and now for the next challenge, a ZERO button win machine XD

make a robot that turns into a crossbow sentry (imagine bastion from overwatch, but a massive futuristic crossbow instead of a minigun), a bird, and a plane! ultimate challenge, i think! ^_^
