This is the second “Chase”, a 10-day Event Wildstar had released. So what is it? A chance to get rare Housing items and other goods! You can see all the details in Wildstar's News.

With the Space Chase when you complete an Expedition that’s within your level-range you’ll earn Eko Particles that you can trade with or sell to other players. Exchanger Beno takes them, who will exchange them for Eko Chits that you can trade with Collector Torio (luckily they’re right next to each other) for spaceship housing items and there's new rewards this time around.

If you don’t want to spend time doing Expeditions you can purchase Eko Chits at the In-Game Store using Protobucks or OmniBits during the event. One thing to note you can only earn Eko Chits with level appropriate Expeditions. So if you do an Expedition that is too low for your level you won’t be getting any.

So listed are the level range for the Event:
6-12: Fragment Zero
10-19: Outpost M-13
17-27: Infestation
25-31: Rage Logic
29-33: Space Madness
31-41: Deep Space Exploration
39-49: Gauntlet
50: Any Veteran Expedition or Vault of the Archon

If brand new to Wildstar, Fragment Zero is long but worth doing once or twice if around level 6-9. Once level 10 you can move onto Outpost M-13. We recommend for low levels to take advantage of the 10-31 range (Outpost M-13, Infestation, & Rage Logic) as these Expeditions are relatively short. Infestation being the quickest of the three.

As for the others; Space Madness is downright annoying with the fresh-air mechanic. Generally its better no one uses it but this causes more mobs and consumes time. Deep Space Exploration is long enough to feel like a dungeon rather an expedition. Gauntlet isn’t as long but can be troublesome for those new to it. At level cap Vault of the Archon is long but worth doing if you have not done it yet but before you can you must have finished OmniCore.

With Starfall going on June 10-14 is certainly time to do this Chase as those count for Week 2’s quest; Complete 5 Expeditions. Its two birds with one stone.

For the ships themselves, Space Chase Cases come in three types and each one will only initially be available during a specific 2-day period. At the end of the event (June 17 to June 20) all 3 will be up in the In-Game Store for a limited time. The News section will note what types will be available.

New to this round of the Space Chase are the cases now have a chance to drop rare NPC décor for Artemis Zin and Dorian Walker, as well as a Dog of War mount and Lonely Lost Larva companion pet, along with gold, Service Tokens, and various flasks. But you can also get the décor, mount, pet and music tracks directly from the Expeditions in the form of new mini-cases that have a chance to drop at the end of Expeditions.

Update: In Veteran Expeditions the Lockboxes are not the mini-cases. The Lockboxes are still dropping the Mechari-themed decor, companion pets, and mount.

Update 2: Rage Logic seems to have the best Eko/Minute rate.
