This is What You Do For Gmod maps that are connected without teleporters

Go to a flat part of the map. Doesn't matter if you are on a slope as long as it's flat. Then, press ~ to open the console. Then, type in the console nav_mark_walkable then nav_generate. Just wait intill the map reloads itself it will lag for a bit till then. After the map has restarted, you now have a Nav Mesh for that map! It would also be a good idea to save it using nav_save.

This is what you do for maps that are connected via teleporters

Go to a flat part of the map. Doesn't matter if you are on a slope as long as it's flat. Then, press ~ to open the console. Then, type in the console nav_mark_walkable then go through one of the teleporters in the map and go to a flat area of that part, and type nav_mark_walkable again. repeat this in different areas until you have done this in every part of the map that uses a teleporter to get to it, then do nav_generate. The map will lag for a bit then it will restart. After the map has restarted, you now have a rough Nav Mesh for that map! It would also be a good idea to save it using nav_save..

or if you dont wanna go through the lag, that can sometimes take hours, you can check if there are any pre-generated navmeshes on the workshop

You're gonna need the hammer editor for this, because you'd have to edit the map file using it.
Here is a more in depth explanation I found on youtube for more specifics, as this could actually be its own guide.

make sure your computer is actually capable of running the commands, and try not to do anything else, including but not limited to opening a browser, having multiple programs open simultaneously, and pressing buttons. waiting for the map to reload is crucial for it to not crash on older / slower pcs, so unfortunately patience is required.
