LAH-4Z 'Nightmare' Mk-III twin-rotor gunship:

I didn't really feel like writing 954632 compatible here, but I did anyway.

The twin-rotor terror of the skies is back and badder than ever:
The H4 Nightmare has been completely redesigned from the ground up with the latest combat tech. It's outboard missile racks now have an expanded capacity of 8 total missile tubes, 4 meters each. It's underslung Hexcot Industries 30mm helicopter chaingun has been replaced with an Okerion 50x30 Shredder gatling cannon designed for heavy air suppression and anti-ship. Not to mention the numerous improvements to system control technology, stability assist, countermeasure systems, and an upgraded pair of EK4-800V Turbofans allowing a sea-level top speed of 75m/s.

The nightmare is the second in a series of resurrections based off some of my earliest most successful designs at the time.

The LAH-104Z, or Nightmare-IV, is nearing the end of development. Be sure to look out for it in the future!

Shields may or may not exist as well as anti-missile systems apparently? I have been too busy to test all the ins and outs of this update to figure out if everything is broken.

Extremely potent little hoverplane. Can currently (v1.955) fairly reliably sink much bigger enemies, even if piloted by the AI. Something to try if your campaign start seems too hard.
