Here we go:
Introduction: Perks
Perks are abilities you choose before a match to aid you in battle. A perk could raise a stat, like health, defense, damage etc., or could give you a headstart in the beginning, like allowing you to spawn with an item.
You should use perks to mold your perfect playstyle, allowing you to win with YOUR STYLE.
Every perk has a counter and it is important that you know how to react and counter someone who has chosen their style.
Chopper
Chopper:

Detailed Explaination:
  • -30% Melee charge time with all Axes
    • The charge time for Axes are lowered. Allowing you to get a full-charged hit ** speed Axes.
    • Effectively giving you +30% dmg on all * and ** speed Axes.
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • Use this perk together with ** Axes (there are non * speed axes yet).
  • The first thing you do as you spawn should be to make a Hatchet, allowing you to take advantage of your perk and to give you an early advantage.
  • This perk is powerful combined with the Fire Axe, letting you get fully charged hits on enemies.
  • Do not pair this perk with a *** speed Axe, as it would have very little effect, as *** speed weapons already allows you to get a fully charged hit upon your enemies.
How to Counter:

  • It is hard to identify if someone has this perk.
  • Your foe will charge his attacks faster, so for you to come out on top you need to be sure to use your block in time.
  • Expect a higher damage output from your enemy, having defensive items and perks will help you here.
Usefullness Rating
  • 7/10: The perk is only useable paired with an axe, but it highers the damage output quite a lot.
================================

Mangler
Mangler:

Detailed Explaination:
  • 80% of melee damage dealt with Axes is also applied to opponent's stamina.
    • Attacking an enemy with an Axe also damages his/her stamina. If you deal 20 damage, you remove 16 stamina from your enemy.
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • Be sure to craft a Hatchet as soon as you spawn, so you can utilize the perks ability.
  • You use this perk to force your enemies stamina to be lowered, this traps your opponent in a state where they cannot run nor jump.
  • Lowering your opponents stamina gives you space to run and heal, or to shoot then from afar.
  • Pair this perk with any axe, and it will give you a great advantage if you are in a fight.
  • Don't pick this perk, and then don't use an axe, simply a waste of perkslot.
How to Counter:

  • If you were to meet someone with this perk, avoid melee combat, as it will put you in a terrible situation.
  • Having a Stamina Shot at hand will give you unlimited stamina for 30 seconds, and can save your life vs this perk.
  • Use bows, guns, explosives and traps to get the upper hand without melee combat.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 8/10: The perk requires an Axe for it to be taken advantage of, but if you get an axe, and you excel at melee combat, you'll be sure to trap your opponent in the form of stamina.

Detailed Explaination:
  • +100% duration for bleed wounds applied by Blades.
    • Bleed will last twice as long with all blades.
    • * Bleed = 6 damage over 10 seconds (with Bloodbath 12 damage over 20 seconds)

    • *** Bleed = 14 damage over 10 seconds (with Bloodbath 28 damage over 20 seconds)
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • This perk needs to be paired with a blade for it to be useful, so be sure to craft a knife as soon as you start.
  • Bloodbath works well when paired with other movement speed perks, as it allows you to hit an opponent, run away, and then let him/her bleed out from the longer bleed duration. This lets you stay out of combat, and recieve less damage.
  • You can also hit your opponent with a blade, then switch to a higher damage weapon, and deal increased damage that way.
  • Pairing this perk with a *** bleed Blade is extremely good.
  • Since this perk only works with blades, be sure to have a blade with you at all times.
How to Counter:

  • If you think an opponent has hit you with Bloodbath, be sure to force melee combat upon them, as the bleed will quickly and effectively drain your HP.
  • The perk "Wound Less" halves the bleed duration, and can help you if you were to meet someone with Bloodbath.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 8/10: The perk requires a blade for it to be useful, but it doubles the wound's damage output over time, and can help immensively in a fight.

  • The perk "Stunner" for bows is also handy, as it disables your opponents extra speed with a * cripple.
  • Same goes for Caltrops, a throwable trap which applies cripple to your opponent, this is especially useful if you're chasing someone.

  • Pair this perk with high-damage bludgeons like Steel Pipe and Pipe Wrench, and it will give you a great advantage if you are in a fight.
  • Don't pick this perk, and then don't use a Bludgeon, simply a waste of perkslot.

  • 8/10: The perk requires a Bludgeon for it to be taken advantage of, but if you get an axe, and you excel at melee combat, you'll be sure to trap your opponent in the form of stamina.

  • Your foe will charge his attacks faster, so for you to come out on top you need to be sure to use your block in time.
  • Expect a higher damage output from your enemy, having defensive items and perks will help you here.

  • You can hit/push/run/jump more as it lets you regen stamina quicker.
How to Counter:

  • Submission/Mangler lets you deplete their stamina quicker, but be aware that they regen it quickly too.
Usefullness Rating:

    • Makes your HP 110 instead of 100.
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • Useful when making a tanky build.
  • Be aware that the extra HP also has to be replenished, meaning, you need to use more bandages or FUNC on health machines to fill your HP.
How to Counter:

  • Bleed wound works well, as defense items/perks like Iron4Skin doesn't defend against that, and lets you bleed the HP away.
Usefullness Rating:

================================

  • Submission/Mangler can eat away at the extra stamina.
  • Use Cripple wound to force your enemy to run slowly while wasting stamina.
  • If your opponent runs away, use ranged weapons.
Usefullness Rating:

    • ^
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • Useful when making a tank-build.
  • Pairs well with any combination of perks.
How to Counter:

  • Bleed wound is not affected by the extra defense, and simply ignores it.

================================

How to Counter:

  • Go in for melee damage instead of ranged damage.
  • Bows will still do a fair amount of damage, but they won't be as effective.

================================

Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • Really good perk for the Teams mode, as backstabs occur often there.
  • Good counter to snares and backstab perks.
How to Counter:

  • Once you realize someone has this perk, go for normal bodyshots and don't bother with backstabs.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 6/10: Really helps in Teams mode, but generally not that useful.
================================

  • Using this perk + Sapper airdrop lets you go full kamikaze on your opponents, as you take way less damage from the explosives.
How to Counter:

  • Once you suspect someone of using this perk, switch away from guns and explosives, and rather use bows and melee.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 4.5/10: This perk can really save your life, but guns and explosives are somewhat rare.
================================

    • Tasers
    • Blowguns without Blow Hard
    • Less bleed damage
How to Counter:

  • Go in for normal melee combat and do not rely on your wounds.
  • Using explosives, bows, guns or high-damage weapons helps here.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 5/10: Makes wounds weaker against you, but the little 25% doesn't help too much in fighting.
================================
Golden Arm
Golden Arm:

Detailed Explaination:
  • +100% damage (+50% if crafted) and 25% velocity for all thrown weapons.

  • Be sure to fully charge your throws for maximum damage.
  • Always have more than 1 weapon to throw.
  • After throwing a weapon, be sure to pick it up before your opponent does.
  • Using Golden Arm sets you into a specific fighting-style, so adjust to it.
  • If people block, the damage is reduced by 50%.
How to Counter:

  • If you meet a Golden Arm user move unpredictably.
  • After the opponent threw their weapon, be sure to pick it up so they can't throw it again.
  • Use block to lower damage taken by 50%.
  • Use perk Thick Skin to lower damage taken by 30%.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 7/10: A very powerful perk, but it needs mastery, and runs many risks, like not finding weapons.

  • +10% damage with all weapons, traps and explosives.
    • ^

  • Combine this perk with Trapper and Carjacker airdrop, the C4 in the airdrop will deal a total of 104.5 damage.
How to Counter:

  • You never know when someone uses this perk.
  • Defensive items like armor, stims and perks helps if you fight someone with this perk.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 6.5/10: Very useful perk which can create some powerful combinations, but the 10% extra damage don't make too much of a difference in melee combat.
================================

  • Crafting speed is a lot faster, and lets you make ammo, armor and bandages incredibly quickly.
  • Not as useful late-game, but still has it's uses.
How to Counter:

  • Its hard to know if someone has this perk.
  • Use defensive perks to lower damage taken.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 6.5/10: The damage bonus is powerful, and so is the faster crafting, but this perk becomes not as useful late-game.
================================
Trapper
Trapper:

Detailed Explaination:
  • Snares now apply a 30% Expose Wound and reduce all trap deployment and disarm times by 75%.
    • Setting down and picking up traps becomes 75% faster. If you snare someone, they will recieve 30% more damage next time you hit them.
Uses, Strategies, NotToDos and Combos:

  • This perk makes traps very useful, especially snares, as they don't take as long to deploy.
  • Pairing the 30% expose from snares with high-damage weapons will cause extreme suffering for your opponent.
  • Backstab perks like Brutus and Sneaky Poker becomes extremely powerful paired with the 30% expose.
  • Explosives such as Claymores and C4 becomes extra useful with this perk, as they are very quick to deploy.
  • If you are in teams, and a teammate is stuck in snares, hit him/her with a weak punch. Getting hit with anything (even alarm gun) releases you from the snare instantly.
How to Counter:

  • Keeping an eye out for traps is smart, if you see traps, crouch to avoid being affected by them.
  • Pick up traps and replace them, this goes for snares and explosives. If you see Punji Sticks, destroy them by hitting them.
  • Immunity perk negates backstab damage, and might save your life.
Usefullness Rating:
  • 7/10: Your damage potential with traps skyrockets, and using traps feels very smooth and easy.

Halfswift  [author] 8 Aug, 2016 @ 4:16am
I think the damage upon direct hit is increased, but not the explosion-damage itself.
