Are you ready to explore the world of Equestria?

The 2015 Official map of Equestria has now been meticulously transcribed as a Playable map in Civilization V. I've also taken educated guesses into completing the landmasses of the Griffon Continent and the Dragon Lands so the world wraps around itself in an aesthetically pleasing manner. Geographical features found in Season 6 of MLP have also been added such as a river flowing through Manehatten and a volcano to stand in for the Gauntlet of Fire.

Features:

A Playable "Huge" Map of Equestria featuring the Griffon Continent and The Dragonlands

Balanced Starting positions of 3 Bonus Resources, 2 of a Luxury Resource, an early(4) and Late(3) Strategic Resource all around a river

A Huge attention to detail and accuracy went into making the Map (I've looked out the windows of the Friendship Train during episodes for reference)

All the Natural Wonders of Civ V placed in appropriately themed locations (i.e. El Dorado in the Forbidden Jungle)

Biomes carefully chosen to help emulate the feel of Equestria (i.e. The Everfree Forest is Darker and Denser than the forests around Ponyville.)

Need More Pony Mods? Harald B has got you covered in his Collection

A Bug found in Civ 5's SDK requires Maps - Rotate Starting Postion[www.picknmixmods.com] or a similar mod in order to play in different starting locations of the map.

If you are able to download the Mod but find that the Map doesn't appear in the Map Selection Tab simply:

Go to you Mods folder
Open Realm of Equestria (Definitive)
Copy the Map file
Paste Map in your Maps folder right above the mod folder

@Storm Holder That's a shame, your map is the only one that's the most accurate to the original official map from Hasbro. The updated map would probably have to be redone from scratch anyway. I'd do it myself, but my version would probably be less accurate.

Good luck with college, hope to see you return to modding in the future. ;)

@Impboy Sorry I'm in College now and I don't think I'll have the time with all the other stuff I'm juggling. If anybody else wants to take what I've made so far and build off of it and call it there own, I'd have no problem with it.

Dear, Storm Holder.

I contact you sins your one of the few active pony modders here on civ. I have some trouble with my own mod I'm creating. Almost everything is done but the game doesn't want to play my custom music that is supposed to replace the music of Bismarck. I don't know if its my scripting, or the fact I didn't add it correctly. Do you mind me adding you here on steam so you can help me out? I would be verry grateful and you would help me to finish my first open workshop mod for public use. I'll credit you if you help me.

I'm having some difficulties with this map. When I start a game using the Equestria nation mod, it always starts me in the same spot -- the far-south spawn point next to the two atolls. Do I have to do something special to make it randomize the spawns?

I had to do the map-copying trick to make it show up, if that's relevant.
