This large map runs a small prison which demonstrates the use of various mods. When you load it, it will be around 7am in the morning. Some staff members will start to call in the guards who will take care of the intake, and some workers to have around in the prison. A few minutes later the snitch sorters will turn on when the intake procedure starts. You won't need to do anything, just watch what happens around in the prison.

Features:

- On demand snitch sorting when fresh prisoners arrive. When a prisoner bus comes, the snitch sorters will be turned on by the road sensors, so they are only active when needed. They stay active until the last bus has unloaded and leaves the map.

- Multiple roads for cargo. Up to 4 trucks can unload at deliveries simultaneously. Road gates will make sure the prison entry stays closed at all times. When visitors arrive at your prison then they will close the gates near the main entry via pressure pads, so they can walk safely without being hit by a truck.

- Real-time basketball. Watch the prisoners play some games while otherwise being bored to death.

- Sauna. Since no heating is available in the cells, prisoners will have needs for warmth sooner or later. The single sauna room takes care of that without having to build boilers and heaters all over the place. There is a pipe valve available next to the boiler which controls hot water for the showers. You can turn it on or off to either give your inmates a nice warm shower, or one which throws ice cubes at them in the morning.

- Customizable control booths. Demonstrates the use of these booths with various types of evacuation.
- Turn on the booth at the evacuation area above the basketball court to have prisoners evacuated.
- Watch the fire alarm take care of your cooks when a fire breaks out in the kitchen.
- Evacuate all administration offices by turning on the booth in the top right corner.
- Call for more workers/guards or dismiss them with the booths at the deliveries area.

- Solar Power. Need some juice for your prison? The massive solar power cluster to the right of the road will take care of the power consumption.

- Execution and death row. Shows about the best spot to pick for dealing with this part of the game. Typically an execution can be done within an hour. Best time to execute is just before shower time starts, otherwise you'll have difficulties reaching 100% lock down.


Once you are done with the demo, feel free to bulldoze whatever you want in the middle to have the space available to build your own prison inside the walls. Best way to do that would be to reload the map, close the intake, then turn on all switches from the workers booths at deliveries (simply right click the red lights on those). I suggest you cancel the reform programs first before doing that, otherwise programs for non-existing rooms will be active. You might also want to close the intake when viewing the demo once the first batch of prisoners has arrived.

By editing the saved game. On top there is a value OriginX, specifying the place where the 5 tiles vertical stroke is on the map (also defines the visitor spawning spot. Simply changing the value will move the stroke to the left or the right according to your likings. Then you bulldoze what was beneath and replace it with stuff you want. When done, edit saved game again to determine where you want OriginX to be.

How did you manage to build over the default roads? I thought you weren't able to do that, even with the roadworks mod?
