Moon Colonization Project - is a space platformer sandbox, where you have to build your own Moon base, save life of your crew and colonizate the Moon!

New players usually don`t understand what they have do to survive on the Moon.
This guide created for new players and it`s describe gameplay basics.

General controls
Mouse - Left click - drag object/character control/manage
Right click - general menu
Scrolling
For save game press F8

Screen scrolling
Use mouse or A D buttons to scroll the game location.

Characters control
Firstly, land crew. Click on the "New Land" and select "Land Crew".


Now you can control characters. (surprisingly, huh?)
Click on needest cosmonaut and than select place to go.


Everyone of your crew need recover oxygen and eat.
You can collect cosmonaut`s food and than select it from your inventory.

Also you can eat in Main Module.


Building system
MCP building system is very easy.
Just select mechanism scheme and paste it on the free place.

Moon Colonization Project is also a scientific game. You can explore and test found elements, moon stones, and more.

For that actions we have to open Laboratory.


We need some materials to explore. You can pick some stones, for first results.

Than click to "Explore" and wait.

Depending on the number of studies and exploring - you get reputation (karma).
You can check your mission reputation (karma) in Main Module.


The higher your karma - the more chances to get a good ending. And vice versa..
The smaller your karma - the more accidents (Random deaths) and chances to get a bad ending.

It`s not secret, what you need resources to build new batteries, buildings, etc.

For search new resources you need drill mechanism.

Let`s order it through Main Module.

Drill mechanism need energy, and we also need battery.
If you haven`t got money to order supply crate, sell some resources.

Note: don`t sell all resources, because you need them to build drill and battery!

Also you can get resources from random loot, or from case, which sent from Earth every 2 days.

I start new game, but after loading i get "Game Over"
Firstly update your game version and than go to your game directory.
(C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\MCP) After that delete all files in Enginesav folder.

My game does not saves!
Update Moon Colonization Project, and than set game executable not only-for-read. (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\MCP). Also you can run game as Administrator of PC.

How to enable fullscreen?
Go to Settings and check "Fullscreen" option.

I playing my old save and there is no my buildings!
It is bug of old/non-licensed version.
