Current State:
Game Version 2.09
(07.09)
--------------------------

Above all, this guide will provide various informations about Perks you need to know. Starting at the point from unlocking Perks up to In-Depth information about the Perks themselves and how to use them. As time goes on, the guide will grow and improve, to provide you even more informations.

--------------------------

Just because the guide - as such - is in its most essential features completed, this does not mean that it won't progress further. All the given data is equivalent to the current Game Version and will kept updated, as well as the guide will improve further on. There are already some ideas in the works, new adaptions of tables, various advanced informations, and so on. This guide might even become a big compendium about many other things than Perks - time will show.

--------------------------

Note:
There will be overhauls, changes in terms of text, format, pictures, order, maybe even whole sections, etc...

In Section 0 you can find various informations about the ongoing develepment of Stage 2, as well as a changelog and to-do for this guide.

--------------------------

About:
This Guide is aiming to show all the Perks that you can unlock through leveling various hunters, as this is - at the current state of the game - not possible yet.

As this guide is still a WIP, although it already progressed within the past few days, there might still be a few things that could appear strange, incomplete, etc. - this will change within the progress of the next few days and the upcoming updates!

The data itself is (unless otherwise stated) correct - that's what counts since that's what you're here for.

For the most recent changes and updates take a look at the next Section (0), if you're just here for the tables, jump to Section 1.

Recent & Upcoming New Hunters:

Official Patch Notes:
0 - Guide Changes & Updates
Note:
  • Due to being quite busy at the present time, i'm a bit behind in writing all the recent changes into the Update-Part of this Section. The guide does still progress and is constantly kept up-to-date :)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Upcoming:
  • Equalizing Steamcode-Tables to 2.08
  • Elite Wildlife Buffs for Hunters & Monsters » Gathering the last missing up-to-date infos
  • Added 2 In-Depth Sections for Perks - now they need a bit of (re-)work!
  • ...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Maybes:
  • Outsourcing older Patchlog Infos, just keeping the 3(?) most recent inside the guide.
  • Full Unlockable List? Including Keys, Emblems, Skins - you decide!
  • Thinking about removing the Steam-Code Tables, as the new version of Enhanced Tables now show the same and even more information - Again, as this guide is for you players out there, tell me: Do you want to keep or to dump it?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sidenote:
  • Bold / Coloured Values: These values have changed within the last Balance Patch
    - Red: Decreased Values (-)
    - Green: Increased Values (+)

  • Perks: On the left side there are the exact names of each Perk in its respective Tier and Colour (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
2 - Hunters' Perks Unlocks
Both tables show the same information, the difference is just how it is listed for an easier overview.

  • Looking for a specific Perk to unlock? Go for First Table
  • Looking for the Perks a specific Hunter can unlock? Go for Second Table

  • Additional Information for Table 1: The numbers show the level when the Perk unlocks, a left aligned number stands for Bronze, a centered number for Silver and a right aligned number for Gold.
(Might be obvious, but still: Bracket 1-11 unlocks Bronze, Bracket 12-21 unlocks Silver, Bracket 22-31 unlocks Gold and Bracket 32-40 unlocks... Skins!)

  • Notable Information: If a Perk is already at rank 3, or generally spoken, if you already own that reward, you will get some Keys instead.

    * Emet unlocks the Major Jumping Perk twice, that's why the unlock for Lv 17 is aligned right.
** Need to validate the Unlocks, information will get updated soon

3 - Hunters' Perks: In-Depth Info
--------------------
Do Perks stack?
Short answer, yes! Keep in mind, that Wildlife Buffs do NOT count as Perk and therefore do not stack. The rule here is: The stronger one counts.
--------------------
How can i get Perk xy?
There are three ways you can obtain certain Perks:
  • Unlocking by playing certain characters (see above)
  • Unlocking through rewards like Daily Login
  • Unlocking by buying with Silver Keys
Note: Some Perks can not be fully obtained (stage 3) by only playing various hunters, therefore you need to either wait for it to appear as a daily login reward or simply buy it.
Note 2: Some Perks can not be obtained at all through playing, these need to be bought (e.g. Thrust)
--------------------
Do i need to buy Perks for each hunter?
No. The Perks are shared globally and permanently. This means that unlocking a Perk once, you can use it on all hunters without restrictions.
--------------------
What happens if my Perk is already at stage 3?
No matter where you'd get that Perk from, it gets exchanged to a Silver Key reward. Depending on where you'd get it from (Unlocking through Hunter's Level-Up, Daily Login, ...) you'll get a different amount of Silver Keys.
--------------------
Does the Reloader Perk affect Skill xy?
First off: Skills are those from 1 - 3, whilst the fourth one is considered a "Class Ability". The Reloader Perk can only affect Skills, never Class Abilities (they have their own cooldown Perk).
The Reloader Perks affect ANY Skill that requires getting reloaded before being usable again - kinda obvious.
You can figure out if a certain skill is affected by these Perks when the respective "Pie's Background" changes from full blue to empty grey after using (and fills up until it gets full and blue again). [/list]
    --------------------
Does the Cooldown Perk affect Skill xy?
This Perk is the counterpart to the Reloader Perk, it only affects the fourth ability - the Class Ability.
    --------------------
How does the Energy Perk work?
It affects everything that has some kind of Ammo or Charge. Examples: Val's Healing Gun, Hanks Shield, Jacks Repulsor, Parnells Supersoldier, Markovs Lightning Gun, Slims Leech gun, Cabots Damage Enhancer, ...
What it does NOT do: It does not allow you to place more deployables at once.
Keep in mind: According to maths, you don't always get extra ammo. Quick Example: Quantum Cairas Launcher has a clip size of 3. The Major (Silver) Energy Perk is too few to give her a fourth grenade.
    --------------------
How does the Fuel Perk work?
The Fuel Perk burns less Fuel while flying, keep in mind that dodging always depletes a quarter of your Fuel Tank.
    --------------------

5 - Monsters' Perks Unlocks
Both tables show the same information, the difference is just how it is listed for an easier overview.

6 - Monsters' Perks: In-Depth Info
7 - Elite Wildlife Buffs
  • All effects added to the table. Although the italic written ones still need proof for up-to-date values, you can now at least see, what effect the buffs grant.
If you know some of the missing values, i'd be glad if you'd share them :)

  • As the Elite Wildlife spawns in waves, depending how much time has passed, the table now shows kind of a coloured index.

    Colour Chart:
    - Green: Spawns after 2 minutes
    - Yellow: Spawns after 5 minutes
    - Red: Spawns after 8 minutes

  • As i still hope that the removal of the Tyrant is just temporarily, i allowed it to stay in that table. For those who are curious, it granted Health Regeneration back then. :)

Q&A (Questions & Answers)
This Section will handle any related question to/about the guide - from both sides!

Your opinion is needed:
  • Do you want to include a full Unlockable-List into this Guide? (Section 0, Maybes)
  • Steam-Code Tables: Keep or Dump? (Section 0, Maybes)

Any chance for this guide to be updated for the patches in October 2016?
Thank you author.

What's With The Weird Capitalisation? Not a silly movie title.

Heroboy, go somewhere else. Really. Have you even counted the perks? Do you know what would it take to "demonstrate" each perk? Why would a text-based guide's author want to waste his time doing that?

If you want it, do it yourself. Make an XLS and put all the values from game and perks there, use formulas to show the changes for each perk and each level of it (and combinations of those in granular fashion) and get back to us.

This [docs.google.com] is what it took to analyse Markov's and Blitz Markov's damage juxtaposed with energy perks' changes. I did it and I encourage you to do the same for the other perks (all levels and combinations) and for all weapons and characters (because e.g. medics have different burst heal cooldown and amount).

Can u Show The Full List and a Demonstration for Each Perk so i can know what it does than a table for everything..
Mr. n 27 Aug, 2016 @ 12:33am
Hunters nerfed again. Tinkerbell build especially. Instead of buffing everything else so it becomes viable, they nerf the most viable option...
Mr. n 17 Aug, 2016 @ 12:44am
Woot! I've waited for this :).

Now if you could do the same for hunter perks, monster perks and elite wildlife buffs tables...

Love yer guide, great job! Keep it up! :)

Yeah, that's because the Patch happened before i was at home and ready to upload the already prepared adjusted tables - the time i've uploaded them nearly overlapped with your commentary :)

Btw, li'l hint: The frame of the Enhanced Hunter Table is now a bit deeper, so that in the 'preview'-image nothing is cut out ;)
Mr. n 16 Aug, 2016 @ 12:06pm
Just a friendly reminder because of 2.06 patch. Worth noting is that the Renegade Abe is an Assault (now I wonder if others will switch roles when alts), so your table placeholder is in the wrong spot :P.

Fantastic resource! Thank your for keeping it up to date.
