Introduction
This guide details many information regarding the map "bbc_termoil". In here, you will find details about the map layout, objectives and even location of objective items, location of weapons and location of secrets.
If you have any questions or criticism, post them in the comment section below. We accept even the so-called rare "Destructive Criticism", but please try your truly best, as it's hard to make proper destructive criticism.

As we get to play more, and updates for the game may come, this guide is not entirely finished (will probably never be), so we're working on getting more content for it.
Overview of Termoil
"bbc_termoil", as named in the game files, Termoil as it should be named officially, is an objective-based map, meaning you will need to complete objectives to proceed and eventually complete the mission.

Before the 1.0.1.1 update on 6th of August 2016, The map itself was very dark indoors, so it was advisable to use the flashlight indoors.
As of this 1.0.1.1 update, indoors have become more lit up, especially visible on the Office's Top Floor and Pawn Shop.

Combat itself varies from mid range combat, to close range encounters with both bandits and zombies.
All in all, this is the most well thought out map so far.
The map was made by "Sethen".

BEGINNING
You spawn in a barricaded hotel where you can find the sidearms Beretta and Glock17 as well as the sub-machine gun MAC-10.
The only rifle is the Remington 700 found on the top floor.
If you want to go outside, you have to cross a barricade, which, before the 1.0.1.1 update, you had to (crouch)jump over it.
After the 1.0.1.1 update, the barricade only covers half the entrance and you can simply just go across it.
Once outside, you will see the main street, where most zombies will spawn. There are multiple areas connected to the main street.

One of them is the vents to your right immediately after exiting the base. This way leads to the subway reception and has barely any risks whatsoever as no zombies will spawn inside of them. However, you can be taken in a tight spot if a human zombie player is inside one of them, so be cautious of that.

Near a few pylons, there is a hole in the street. If you drop down, you will be in the sewers.

Don't worry about taking any fall damage, since the sewer is full of soiled water, it will completely soak your fall damage. Some stray bandits will get in the way near the vent access, and usually zombies will spawn as well. The vent to the left will lead you to the first floor of the office, while the vents on the right will lead to the subway reception area.

Along the street is the bookstore. In here, if you had gotten the objective to clear out the bookstore, a soldier will spawn after a while near the ammunition box and two FAMAS. Another soldier will spawn as well just around the corner, near the downed bookcases.

Above the bookcases you can exit through the window, leading to the street.

To the right of the boxes which lead to the offices, you will find a pawn shop. This is both one of the darkest and tightest places in the map, unless you get to the second floor of it. Bandits are mostly near the shop area and the basement.

Near the end of the street, there is a large hole in the street, and leads to the subway. If you make the drop, make sure you fall on the rubble so you take no falling damage. It is also recommended not to take a direct jump.

If you wish to exit the subway, you can take multiple ways to exit: one is to your right after you drop.

The other is near the waiting area.

To the right of the hole in the street, there is the subway reception. This leads to the subway itself and the vents, which will bring you back to the start of the main street.

If we separate this map into "blocks", this is how it will be like;
Hotel ("Staincliffe Hotel"). The spawn zone and pretty much safest zone in the map.
Street. When we get out of the Hotel, we'll get here and we can go to...
Bookstore ("Dead Books"). A place where you can find the two current Assault Rifles in the game, AK47 and FAMAS. May be related to an objective, "Secure the Bookstore".
Office ("Z.E.D. Publishing"). Bandit-infested interior with two floors, recommended to go with another teammate for extra security, as the bandits may surprisingly be tougher than they act. This is always where you get the
Pawn Shop. Holed up with bandits, this is the best spot to go if you're looking for armour and/or medkits, as there are at least 4 spawns, 1 in the first floor and 3 on the top floor. This is also where you get "Project Zero".
"Meka Metro" Subway/Underground. An Underground/Subway that commonly spawns "Runners". This is where you'll find the Briefcase.
Map Overlays of Termoil
Here are a bunch of map overlays for Termoil.
NOTE: Blurred-out spaces are simply locations you either can't access or is of no interest.

The whole map itself

The whole map itself WITH Bottom Floors

The whole map itself, without any details.

As the guide keeps being updated, there will be more Overlays for all possible objectives, weapon locations, etc.
Objectives
The order of the objectives you need to complete is randomised. For instance, you can get "kill X amount of zombies" in a row. Because of this, all of the possible objectives have been listed.
(Objective) Kill X amount of zombies
"Image of the objective, seen on top of the HUD"

The most straight forward objective. This virtually needs no explanation but we put it for the sake of completion and to be as informative as possible.
This objective can possibly trigger immediately after the game starts, but it is almost guaranteed to trigger after you complete certain objectives. Naturally, more zombies need to be killed the more objectives you complete.

If this objective triggers from the very start, you will need to kill 15 zombies.
These zombies will spawn very close to the safe-zone, even closer to the two respawning Militaries in the area. Unless dealt with hastily, they will not stop spawning and they will keep killing the Militaries.

Notice that the more players are in the game, the more zombies will spawn.
(Objective) Obtain briefcase
"Picture of the location of the Briefcase"

This is usually the first objective which you need to complete. After you follow the main street, drop down the hole, and you will very quickly see a briefcase. After you or a teammate grabs the briefcase, escort them and head back to the barricade.

If this is the first objective that triggers, it is advised you take the vents. Despite being slightly slower than using the main street to reach the briefcase, there will be virtually no zombies in your way, until you return back to the barricade.
(Objective) Secure the bookstore
"Image of the location of the Bookstore and the objective on top of the HUD"

To secure the bookstore, you will have to stand inside of it for a certain period of time.

While not everybody needs to be inside to secure it, if there are 12 players then there should be at least 4 players to have the minimal acquisition speed. Also, the more teammates are in, the faster it goes. It doesn't seem that there's a true speed difference of 12 players MAX vs 6 players MAX.
(Objective) Kill Fred
"Picture of Fred in the Metro"

Fred will spawn near either the end of the main street, or down the subway. Fred will have more than 3000 HP, depending on the amount of players in the server. It is recommended that you lure him near to the spawn and use the two soldiers as a distraction while you and your teammates attempt to take him down. Don't worry about the soldiers, they will keep respawning after dying.
Remember, once Fred's health gets lower and lower, he will go berserk and gain additional speed, so be prepared. (Damaging Fred at 150 damage will make him rage)
(Objective) Find the vital documents
"Picture of one of the possible locations"

To find the documents, you will have to scavenge the offices.
It is guaranteed to spawn in the Offices, but not always on the same spot, it may be...
1. At the second floor near an office room.
2. At the first floor on a cubicle.

If you have "Glow Outline Items" enabled, then you will easily see it.
(Objective) Obtain 'Project Zero'
"The door to the Pawn Shop, half-broken.
Break the table to make it enterable."
You can find "Project Zero" inside the pawn shop.
Before you can actually acces the pawn shop however, you will need to shoot down the door (you can also use melee weapons to take it down). After the door is broken, shoot the bench blocking the entrance and you can enter the shop as well as open what's left of the door.
Bandits will guard the area and zombies will enter the pawn shop, so be extra careful if you're still in the main entrance.

"One of the possible locations for 'Project Zero'"
"Project Zero" can spawn in either the second floor or the basement. After obtaining it, the zombies would have usually crowded the main entrance.

"A conventional window to get away without getting grabbed"
Thus, the best way of escaping is going to the second floor, shooting the windows, and dropping down. Don't worry, you will take no fall damage. After that, head back to spawn to secure project zero.

NOTE: The objective name, "Clear out the Pawn Shop, and obtain 'Project Zero'" is a bit of a misnomer, since bandits will always spawn in the Pawn Shop, making clearing it out unnecessary. You only need to get Project Zero and bring it to the base to proceed.
(Objective) Find a working radio and cable
"One of the possible locations for the Cable"

The locations of the radio and cable are the most randomised in the map, even though it, ironically, triggers in every session. Here are some of the places the cable and radio will spawn in:
  • The cubicles inside of the offices.
  • Near the pallet jack in the first floor of the offices.
  • Second floor of the pawn shop, where project zero also possibly spawns.
  • In the subway, just a few feet ahead of where the briefcase spawns.

Be wary that Cable's highlight outline colour is always GREEN, while for radio it is always BLUE.

After amassing both the radio and the cable, you will need to prepare them near the two soldiers at spawn. After using the radio, the final objective will trigger.
(Objective) Defend until evac arrives
"Picture of the Radio&Cable assembled, ready to toggle an objective"
Before you activate this objective, keep one thing in mind: you don't need to immediately use the radio after you have gathered both parts, and it is recommended you grab a weapon which is fully loaded before activating the objective.
This is because of one simple reason: once the objective is activated, runners will spawn. Runners are a grave danger to you and your team, and more and more of them will spawn with each passing moment.
Worst part is that zombies will spawn very near the safe zone as well, the Military can just easily die from them.

"Being on top of a Hummer will be very safe"
Because of this, holding out on top of a hummer is recommended since they can't actually attack you on top of it.

"The Helicopter, the only escape part"
After holding out for a few minutes, the helicopter will arrive, and you can escape by going near the escape icon. Once everyone has escaped, the mission will be completed.
Weapon locations
In Termoil, you can find every weapon, and in theory, you can obtain every weapon achievement as long as you keep getting ammunition for the weapon.

Ammo boxes and crates, medkits and various armor types are scattered across Termoil.

NOTE: Confirmed by the developers themselves, the HP and Armour locations are the same. You can pick up a medkit and in the next "respawn" it might be armour or medkit again.
Only a very few locations have this "randomization" disabled.
So whenever you see a Medkit or Armour, that same spot will respawn as either a Medkit or Armour.

Main streets

Armor/HP Pickup can be found near the two soldiers.

An ammo box can be found left to the two soldiers.

A small medkit can be found in the main street, near the pawn shop entrance.
Unlike other item locations, this one is never randomized, but will spawn more slowly and will always be a small medkit.

An ammo box can be found at the end of the street, near the hole.

Sewers

An ammo box and a small medkit can be found in the sewers, near the door leading to the vents.

Secrets
Even Termoil is not without secrets. Some have some use, although most of them are just easter eggs.

"The Objective"

Just behind the hummer where the soldiers spawn, a note can be found.
This note seems to detail the objectives survivors must do.

"A not-so-suicidal Note"
Near the bookstore, there are a few ways to enter an accessible area.
<pic of vanOne way is to jump on top of the van.
<pic boxes>The other is by climbing these boxes.
<pic of note>
You can find a corpse and a note, which has the following description in it.
In addition, a shotgun will spawn next to the corpse, though no backup ammunition comes with it.

"Doge"

In the offices, if you head north near the double barreled shotgun and baseball bat and head the second door left, you will find a portrait of a hilarious meme nobody has grown tired of.

"Shadow Knight"

In the first floor, there is a board with "Shadow Knight" on it. Shadow Knight is the Community Manager of BrainBread 2, the board was put there by the lead developer "Jonny".

This is the older version, which used to be just a tag.

"Pointin' Skull"

Just opposite of the Shadow Knight tag, this tag of a skull with a pointing hand can be found.
This "skull icon" is identical to the two "No Ranged Weapons" achievements.

"Burger Tank advert"

In the alley right next to the pawn shop, you can see a billboard in the distance.

Upon closer inspection, the billboard appears to be directly taken from Left 4 Dead, where Burger Tank is a well-known restaurant chain, a favourite of Coach's.

"There is no Easter Egg. Go away!"
<pic of no easter egg here>
This secret is just behind the wall with the humping stuffed turtles. Behind them is a poster which has this description. Notice you cannot actually see this secret with conventional means, you will have to use noclip to actually see it.
[Achievement] Turtle Lover
"Turtle Lover"
'You can't stop this hump train'

"Turtle Lover" is an achievement that can only be obtained in Termoil. To achieve it, you must use all the ten turtles in the progress of one match. Since the turtles have outlines, it's easy to spot them when you are near them.
In order to get the achievement, you MUST press E (the default key for "use") and hear a "moan" from it. In case you keep pressing E and hear no moan at all, it means you already pressed it before.
The Turtles will have a glow when you get near them and aim at them, so use that to your advantage.

First turtle
It can be found right outside the spawn location, "Staircliffe Hotel", under the Humvee's back.

Second turtle
This one is located in the offices; Upon entering, head to the right, then to the left and then enter the room to the left. You can find it in the bookcase, near the exit sign.

Third turtle
This one is located relatively close to the second turtle pair, just to the left of it in a cubicle room. The two turtles can be found on top of a PC monitor.

Fourth turtle
The fourth turtle can be found in the first floor of the offices, right under what appears to be the reception desk near the grenades.

Fifth turtle
Can be found under the trees at the end of the streets, near the hole which leads to the metro.

Sixth turtle
This one is right near the escalators in the reception, near a mural of the flag of Arizona.

Seventh turtle
In the vents which connects "Meka Metro" Subway's Reception and "Staircliffe Hotel" spawn point.

Eighth turtle
The eighth turtle can be found in the Subway Metro. If you drop down the hole and head to the right, you will see a door. Head inside and you will eventually find the turtle pair at the end of the corner.

Ninth turtle
The ninth turtle is in the left of the Metro Train. An easy way of getting here is by dropping down the hole at the end of the streets.

Tenth turtle
The last turtle pair can be found in the Pawn Shop's Basement. Head down the stairs and you will quickly spot it to the right, in the middle of the stand.
[Achievement] Turtle Lover (MAP OVERLAY)

Currently, most of the last stand maps are not that interesting to cover. If new (last stand) maps come out, I might cover them. Unless demand for the last stand maps that came with the launch is high, I don't think I will cover them in their current state.

Nice Guide alot of newer players have no idea about what to do on this map. You going to make one for Last stand also?
