Warriors of Dragonfire Pass - Clan Helhein (Warriors of Dragonfire Pass)
Ekrund Miners - Clan Helhein (Miners- Blasting Charges)

New Units

All units recruitable via buildings, modding RoR doesn't work unless you change the startpos file which will lock you out of faction unlockers and other cool mods.

Dwarfs:

Dwarf Warriors
  • Clan Barruk (the Goldshields)
Regiment of Renown - Main Dwarf Faction Only
After the fall of Karak Drazh, Clan Barruk established their own small hold to the north of Karag Dron. Long a destitute group, Clan Barruk finally came into their own when their mines yielded rich veins of superlative gold. Naturally, wealth brought raiding armies of Ogres and greenskins, but behind shieldwalls of rune-imbued gold, Clan Barruk proved impossible to break, and no foe could shift the stout Dwarfs from their mountaintop home. Only when the last lode was excavated and their mine fully depleted did Clan Barruk abandon it, marching out in search of new riches. Thus, while a new source of wealth is sought, the Goldshields have seen duty fighting alongside many other holds, eager to establish their clan’s good name and hoping to dampen the disparaging remarks about their being ‘new money’.
  • Unit Stats
Base (Dwarf Warriors EXP9) +2 Melee Defence +2 Melee Attack +15% Magic Resistance

  • Thorgar Ironfist
Regiment of Renown - Clan Angrund Only
Thorgar Ironfist, renowned Thane from Karak Eight Peaks commands a band of Dwarf warriors determined aid their King Belegar Ironhammer to reclaim the Karak from the Greenskins and Skaven. (Not Official Lore)
  • Unit Stats
Base (Dwarf Warriors EXP9) +2 Melee Defence +2 Melee Attack +6 Leadership +500 Health +Leadership Aura
Dwarf Rangers
  • Joseph Bugman
Regiment of Renown - Clan Angrund Only
Joseph Bugman miraculously survived the Battle of Bugman's Brewery, and turned up years later at the Dwarf hold of Karak-Varn. He was not recognised at first, but when the King of the Dwarfhold tasted the beer that he brought with him, his identity was proved beyond doubt. Bugman's Dwarf Rangers were re-formed at Karak-Varn, as his reputation and his brewing skills brought Dwarves from miles around flocking to his banner. The expedition to reconquer and re-establish Bugman's Brewery assumed the proportions of a holy war.
  • Unit Stats
Base (Dwarf Rangers EXP9) +3 Melee Defence +5 Melee Attack +4 Leadership +400 Health +Leadership Aura
Longbeards
  • Prince Ulther's Dragon Company
Regiment of Renown - Main Dwarf Faction Only
Led by Prince Ulther, King in exile of Karak-Ungor the Dragon Company won't rest until Ulther can be crowned king and the Chaos Dwarfs are no more.
Sadly these guys are way out of time, Karak-Ungor fell 3800 years before Thorgrim's reign as High King and with Dwarfs living 200-500 years there isn't really a viable story to link history with current game. They really are a regiment of renown. These guys likely lived at some point in the 1500 years before Karak-Ungor fell and after the Chaos Dwarfs started worshipping Hashut.
  • Unit Stats
    Base (Dwarf Longbeards EXP9) +3 Melee Defence +3 Melee Attack +3 Leadership +200 Health +Empire Pistol EXP9

Empire:

Hammerers
  • Dwarf Smiths
Armed with their mighty smithing hammers this unit comprises of Dwarf blacksmiths that have settled in towns all across the Empire to ply their trade. Some live in the Empire for the gold their craft can generate whereas others, the crazy ones actually like the Humans.
All are happy to join up with Empire armies to fight to defend their livelihoods or partake in some good old fashioned skull splitting when the wages are right.
Premise of the unit is it will provide a low level small unit of non elite dwarf hammers which are balanced to just lose to both unts of dwarf warriors for use by the empire as a limited recruitable unit to complement swords and spearmen.
  • Unit Stats
Base (Dwarf Hammerers) -6 Melee Defence -30 Melee Attack -10 Leadership -20 Dwarfs -10 Armour
  • Limited Recruitment to 4 units per faction recruitable by main Empire faction only.
Any units that eventually conflict with vanilla units will be removed (eg if they release bugman as a hero or lord)

Initial release of my mod on TW:WH2, currently the only thing supported is the name changes and i've not renamed the 3 new dwarf factions.

thanks! if you could... could you please make it so longbeards don't have a model without a helmet? that always looked so stupid to me.... It would eliminate the need to search for a mod to give them all helemts seperately in WH2 ? :)

let me know, thanks!

Hi @warmaster, was thinking about that. No promises of how fast but will try and bring it over.
WarMaster GoreHowl 27 Oct, 2017 @ 4:30pm
Please update your mod and bring it over to mortal empires in warhammer 2 I beg you... :)

No problem. Thank you for your response Sir. I've enjoyed your work for a long time and thought I would ask. If you haven't checked out Steel Faith, I would strongly recommend it to you from one dwarf fan to another. Thank you for your time and consideration and hard work Sir.

@rock ah ok i wasn't sure what you mean't by SFO, yeah sorry i'm not really keen on making a second mod and then trying to balance it against another mod. Its difficult enough balancing stuff against vanilla.
Sorry, understand that later in a games life people tend to play more modded but trying to balance it against a specific overhaul where there are so many overhauls is too big a can of worms.

I don't play anymore without SFO. Vanilla is just no fun. I love your mod and it's always been a must have for me. The only problem is that it doesn't play nice with Steel Faith Overhaul. Josef Bugman doesn't show up in game, likely as he's overwritten by another unit from SFO. The other units do but they aren't balanced and much weaker than the units in Steel Faith Overhaul. I was just curious if you'd be keen on putting in some time to make a Steel Faith Overhaul version of your mod. If you don't play much yourself anymore you might not be interested in burning time on it though, so I understand. Thanks for the response Sir!

Hi @Rock33S I gave them a little update just the other day after the patch, i couldn't see anything else needed as not much for the Dwarfs changed.
Do you have anything specific that you think was needed? I'm not playing TWW very much but happy to keep the mod updated.
SGT Rock [82EN] 21 Aug, 2017 @ 9:41pm
@Moritasgus Any chance we can get your units balanced for SFO?
