The Websites
Note alot of this content was developed a in previous years so you may need the railworks US asset pack for it but it's worth it!

First up is one I assume many of heard of, Railworks America. Incase you are not familiar this is a big site for american content from a wide variety of great modders including locomotives, rolling stock, scenery, routes, scenarios, sounds and more.

http://railworksamerica.com/

Next up is Golden Age Rails. This website contains free locomotives including SD7s in a variety of railways, self propelled passenger cars, lots of rolling stock and some scenery including buildings, trestles, realistic telegraph lines, grain elevators and oil tanks. It also includes some payware.

Coming in third is a website with a ton of auto-installing repaint content. Remember the good old days of MSTS where you could download railcars in packs of 6, 12, 20 or more? This is it for railworks. The website includes realistic sounds for SD40-2s, repaints in over a dozen railways for default KUJU locomotives including the ES44AC and SD40-2 and some repaints for payware locomotives and Justin Cornells GP38-2. Rolling stock repaints are plentiful with realistic weathering and graffiti, many for the default KUJU US rolling stock.

The fourth mention is the railserve pages and obos railworks catalog. Both of these websites give you an insight to what is out there for railworks mods and where to find it, they also have their own downloads.

Last but not least is The Loco Shop. This includes many high quality locmotive repaints in a variety of locomotives including custom work requests, horn packs, and subscriber mods.

Check out these websites and you'll be happily surprised with how much they can expand your railworks roster without spending a penny!
