At last, my third port is here, and I feel this is probably my best one yet! The Oxygen Destroyer formed the culmination of Daisuke Serizawa's research into the power of Micro-Oxygen. Contained within the inner capsule is a highly-concentrated amount of the mysterious chemical, capable of reducing even Kaiju to a skeleton in only a few seconds.

Intent on preventing his creation from being used as a weapon, Serizawa destroyed his research on the chemical, before dying alongside Godzilla as the Oxygen Destroyer was activated, forever sealing the mystery of how the device worked.

Yet, while the Oxygen Destroyer had indeed slain the mighty Kaiju, its activation had unknowingly activated a new yet ancient evil which lurked just below the sand of Tokyo Bay...

Besides its prominent role in the original Godzilla film, the Oxygen Destroyer prop has featured in several other Toho films as a cameo. In fact, the Oxygen Destroyer is one of the oldest known Toho props to have survived to the present day, being almost 62 years old as of 2016.

This model only comes in one size, but it is scaled so it can be interacted with by human-sized ragdolls! Unfortunately, the flex to open the inner capsule is broken, but there is a bone to move the hand on the Oxygen Destroyer's dial. I've also made the physics mesh cylindrical this time, so if you wanted to, you could roll it down a slope or something like that.

The only weapon in the history of the franchise to successfully kill Godzilla where every other man made weapon or mech, failed.

The Oxygen Destroyer.

The Oxygen Destroyer was the invention of Dr. Daisuke Serizawa. Having devoted his studies to the element oxygen, Serizawa accidently stumbled upon the chemical reaction. Though horrified by the destructive potential of his discovery, he nonetheless continued his research, optimistic that some beneficial outcome could be produced from it.

The device works by activating a chemical stored within its spherical center, which causes the center to split in half and open. Once released, the chemical reacts violently with the water, isolating oxygen molecules and splitting them.

The molecules are then liquified. This means that any organism exposed to the chemical will first suffocate from the lack of oxygen, and then disintegrate.

Depending on the amount of the oxygen destroying chemical released, the body of the victim will either be eaten down to the bone or destroyed completely. When used to its full potential, the Oxygen Destroyer will leave no remains. If the Oxygen Destroyer had been used on land, it would have turned Tokyo into a cemetery.

Only 40 years later would the Japanese find out that something terrible would arise from the use of this terrible weapon..

The model comes in only one size, and has two bones, one for its root, and another for the meter on it's dial.

It also has a flex to open the central spehere.
