How to use the DLC Package

Purchasing DLC
Purchase the DLC you want from the list of DLCs available in DFO.
DLCs can be purchased through your STEAM wallet. If you run into problems while purchasing,
you can click here to look for resolutions.
Redeeming the DLC
1. After logging into the game, press the ESC button and you will find the DLC button. Click on the DLC button.


2. After clicking the DLC button, you will see a window pop up as shown below.


The DLC you purchased will have Redeem button activated.
Click the Redeem button, and the items will be sent to your inventory.
Please Note
  • All items included in the DLCs are account bound and cannot be traded.
  • Redeem button will only be activated if the steam account you purchased DLC matches the steam account you are trying to redeem the items.
  • Should you run into problems redeeming DLC, you can look for resolutions here or send a ticket to DFO Customer Support Page[neople.zendesk.com], and they will be able to assist you.

Please find a way to link the DFO-website-registered account to receive steam DLC packages please.

This is crazy. I have never had an issue with a steam purchase DLC. it is 2020, and I see comments from all the way back in 2016 with the same problem. I wish I had read this section because I feel like I have wasted my time.

DO NOT BUY DLC TO STEAM, JUST USE THE STEAM WALLET and BUY DIRECTLY INSIDE OF THE GAME, STEAM DO NOT SUPPORT DLC INSIDE OF GAME!

Miku DLC, I pressed Redeem but didn't work. I can't get any DLC items including mission DIVA.

Button still grayed out for the Play More pack as of today. Purchased around November of 2016, guess how much time I have awaited for a fix.

What they don't tell you is that; Only has one use, meaning its only redeemable to one character only. Unless you can keep purchasing for every other character you want to redeem, I have not given a test.

has anyone actually found a fix for the redeem button not working? relogging has not helped

To all players who have problems retrieving their purchased DLC items:

You must have a DFO account which was directly registered through the Steam version game client. Thus, a bond / link can be established between your DFO account and Steam account.

If you're using an account which was registered on DFO's official website, then you cannot receive your purchased DLCs, because this account is not linked with your Steam account.

And there are some issues with the Steam version game client right now. Until Neople finds a way to fix all those issues, and find a way to let people link existing DFO accounts with Steam accounts, there is NO WAY to retrieve your purchased DLC items.

These issues have been discussed for quite a while and many times. If you make a blind purchase without being aware of the situations, then I'm afraid that you're partially blamed for the difficulties you're having right now. Next time please read people's reviews and topics first.
