PAYMENT > Game is frozen when I click the button to top up
It happens when Steam Overlay is inactive. Make sure you have the Steam Overlay enabled in Steam's settings. To check, go to:

1. Right-click on the game title under the Library in Steam
2. Select Properties
3. On the General tab, check the box next to Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game

TECHNICAL > Message "Unable to connect to log-in server" appears
The message appears during maintenance or firewall and anti-virus software blocks game. Check the maintenance time and firewall, anti-virus software settings.

Basic Troubleshooting
1. Run the Game as administrator
2. Run Steam as administrator
3. Check your anti-virus software settings
4. Verify the Integrity of the GameCache

Failed to start game (app already running)
Failed to start game (Missing Executable)
TECHNICAL > Message "Unstable internet connection" appears
This message appears when your internet connection speed isn't good or there is high gap between players. Contact internet service provider (ISP), or Check other player's ping and play with them who have same ping.

How to check Ping
Check bars next to characters in game room.
- Red ping: internet connection speed is too bad
- Yellow ping: internet connection speed is bad
- Blue ping: internet connection speed is normal
- Purple ping: internet connection speed is good
- Green ping: internet connection speed is perfect
TECHNICAL > Message "SteamAPI_Init Failed" appears or Game asks ID and PW
This error is caused as in following:
1. When the Steam client isn’t running. Run the game ** via Steam library as Online mode. **
2. When the Steam client couldn’t determine the game. Make sure that you have ** steam_appid.txt ** in LoveBeat installation directory (…\steamapps\common\LoveBeat).
3. When the game and Steam client are not running under same rights. Run the game and Steam client as ** same Windows administrator rights/privileges. **

You might solve this problem by:
1. Keep the game version up to date.
2. Reinstall the latest Steam Client.
3. Reboot the computer.

We are investigating GameGuard problem, working together with INCA Internet Game Security Center. A staff from the center might contact you for quickest troubleshooting if you email us about your GameGuard problem. Please check Contact LoveBeat Support (Submit Tickets) section if below guide doesn't work.

Basic Troubleshooting
1. Check the Error Code
If below error code appears, see GameGard FAQ[www.gameguard.co.kr] for more information.
- Initialization fail (Error code 114)
- GameGuard update failure. Error code 340, 350, 361, 380
- GameGuard redundant execution error. Error code 115, 110
- Update failure. Error code 180
- Windows compatibility mode problem. Error code 151
- I would like to reinstall the game. Error code 124, 153
- Detection of programs that cause conflict with GameGuard. (Error code 500)

2. Log on as an administrator
GameGuard needs Windows administrator account. Please try to log on as an administrator. See this article[support.microsoft.com] for more information.

3. Delete GameGaurd folder
GameGuard is automatically downloaded and updated when running LoveBeat. Canceling or stopping GameGuard update causes problems. You try to download and update again after you delete GameGuard folder in LoveBeat installation directory
- The directory by default: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LoveBeat

4. Turn off (Deactivate) or Uninstall anti-virus software
Some anti-virus software block or conflict with LoveBeat, or using 2+ anti-virus software might cause problems. Please turn off or uninstall all anti-virus software including McAfee.

5. End unnecessary processes and software
Certain processes and software cause problems. Please end unnecessary processes and software in Task Manager, such as VPN, Sandboxie, Avast Online Scanner, other games which have game security solution (e.g. Xigncode) and so on.

6. Other Checklist
GameGuard errors can be displayed for different reasons. Pay attention if error says that Game or GameGuard has been falsified.
1) Windows firewall and anti-virus software is set to allow game and GameGuard
2) Update your anti-virus software and Run a scan to detect malware
3) Install windows security updates[www.update.microsoft.com] up to date
4) Reboot your computer after trying all above checklist.
TECHNICAL > Game doesn’t run or open
Check out what message says when you cannot run game. If there is no message pop ups, please look into GameGuard problem section.

Basic Troubleshooting
1. Check the game version is up to date
2. Check your computer's spec meets game system requirements
3. Check windows firewall is set to allow game and GameGuard
4. Check your anti-virus software settings
5. Install windows security updates[www.update.microsoft.com] up to date
6. GameGuard might affect. Check GameGuard problem section
TECHNICAL > Screen problem/Can't change to windowed mode
Your monitor has to support 1024 x 768 resolution and directX 9.0. If not, game screen might happen. See Steam article for checking DirectX Settings.
You can change to windowed mode by pressing Alt + Enter if option button is missing.

GAMEPLAY > How to break up with my partner (farewell)
How to break up
1. Go to Couple or Marriage information page
2. Click break-up button (broken heart icon)
3. Read the message popup carefully
4. Accept it
5. You and your partner will break up immediately when use Farewell Card item (Heart in marrige) or the partner accept it. It takes a week if the partner doesn't check.

Remark
Once your request for farewell, there is no way to restore it so please be careful.

1. Type /leavefam in the chat
2. Accept it

In case of Fam master
1. Hand the master over to someone, or kick all other members out
2. Type /famdisband
3. Accept it
GAMEPLAY > How to get Special Mark (VIP, VVIP, SVIP, PVIP)
The special mark (VIP, VVIP, SVIP, PVIP in slot) is provided to who spent 30,000+ Cash in previous month. It's a monthly update and given at the beginning of the month. (Isn't permanent) You would get VVIP mark in July if you spent 70,000 Cash within June.

Amount for the marks
1. VIP: 30,000 - 69,999
2. VVIP: 70,000 - 109,999
3. SVIP: 110,000 - 149,999
4. PVIP: 150,000+
GAMEPLAY > I don't receive event rewards
Most rewards for event are given during maintenance or after event ends. Check details of the event in advance.
GAMEPLAY > I want to add my favorite songs in game
Songs from Jamendo which is our official music provider only are made available. Find songs Jamendo[licensing.jamendo.com] and then post them at Music forum. It would be added in game after our review.
If you know website(s) which provides free songs, Please let us know.
GAMEPLAY > How to Join an Artist of LoveBeat

Join an Artist LoveBeat by submitting your own (self-written) songs. Email to lovebeat_cs@crazydiamond.co.kr including:

1. Artist Info
- Artist name
- Artist description
- Additional information (your artist logo, facebook, website…)
2. Music Info
- Music title
- Its file (MP3)
3. Personal Info
- Full name
- Email
- Steam account
- LoveBeat in-game name

Please be sure not to violate others’ copyright. By submitting your music files via email, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use as who is the sole owner of the rights, or represent all owners of rights on music submitted.

Please follow these steps to ensure that your incident or inqury is handled in the quickest and most efficient manner possible. (Simple inquires don't need DxDiag.txt, GameGaurd.zip and Screenshots)

1. Prepare DxDiag.txt
1) Press Windows Key + R.
2) Type DxDiag and press Enter.
3) In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
4) Name the file "dxdiag" and click Save.
5) Exit the DirectX Diagnostic Tool.

2. Prepare GameGuard.zip
1) Navigate to your LoveBeat installation directory: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\LoveBeat
2) Right-click on GameGuard folder
3) Hover your cursor over the “Send to” option. it will open a new submenu
4) Select “Compressed (zipped) folder”

1) Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete to open Task manager when you're faced with the problem
