Are you trying to save up those Dragon Scales and Bones for crafting but sick of running to a chest to store them due to the obscene weights of these items? Use this mod that reduces the weight of both items to 5KG, not too heavy, not too light either.

I see it says don't download but I recently rebooted my old heavily modded Skyrim and this still seems to be working just fine

to me, the bones weigth are 8 kg. why?

the reason for heavy bones is its is a dragon. if u follow any lore you might find out that dragons have very tough bones and scales and that is why certain weapons are better since they penetrate the scale. plus you don't know if it is a group of bones or 1 bone.

I'm guessing since the newest DLC came out and Skyrim was patched up that that is what is making this mod no longer work properly? It was great until then mate.

What I don't understand, why did bethesda make them so heavy? In the real world, anything that can essentially fly has very light weight bones so wouldn't dragons have very light bones also. This mod does make sense but what needs to be done also is the weight of the weapons and armor to fit with the weight of the bones and scales.

Hey, the weight in the game is in pounds, not in kg!
I'd suggest the "Lighter Dragon Loot" mod though.
