Description
THE MODEL 117-X IS NOW DEPRECIATED!
Model retrofits are available here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=900139061

In the aftermath of an unknown chemical explosion deep within Scarlet Dawn territory, toxic fallout began to spread over the major providences of the Twilight Guard. The caustic micro-particles choking both the troops of the admiralty's grand army, and the compression fed combustion engines widely used at the time. The raining debris scattered the signals of most detection equipment, leaving the fringe colonies vulnerable to pirate attacks until it cleared. Infantry and mechanical forces were severely crippled by the event, as well as the many air transport routes tying together their allies.

In time, many of the trade routes were reestablished and the remaining warships repaired. Yet the atmosphere was still too polluted for the L.A.F.'s own fleet to operate in full force. Turning to researchers at E-K Aerospace and Oxram Galactic for a solution, the admiralty commissioned a new generation interceptor. One that would be able to cut through the veil of fallout, with improved engines and electronic warfare capabilities to gain an advantage over the other wounded fleets.

The LJF117-X aimed to do just that.
Powered by 2 Oxram inline G15-K ramjets and carrying an advanced arsenal of inferred detection and ranging systems, the Pegasus Revenge was able to hunt down hostile aircraft with ease. Armed with an Ashens G200X30 Punchthrough heavy machinegun and two underslung racks of modifies TAK-5s, the Pegasus Revenge is a feared and formidable interceptor.

Correction: sheilds' ability to reflect bullets at high speed.

Yea, ive gotten really tired of fixing things nick has broken. I don't even update 2/3rds of the aircraft because the mechanics get so horribly broken so the fact that something this new is already acting up is really frustrating.

The most recent patches seem to have severly hampered sheilds' ability to reflect bullets. That's one option.

I have been working on minor engine optimizations but it hasant helped much. Ammo producers are pretty taxxing on the engine aswell so it is unlikely that I'll add more unless a bit more power is freed up.

Overall pretty effective. Ammo capacity is a tad lacking, and it suffers from overheating issues in combat, but I don't think I've seen another aircraft this powerful for how compact and inexpensive it is. Not to mention it's wonderful for getting behind enemy aircraft, and its use of standard autoloaders means it'll virtually never run out of ammo.

Developing these compact, finely tuned, and incredibly deadly aircraft is quite a long process for how small they are. The process can vary on a case-to-case basis but for the average vehicle the process is something like this:

Depending on the complexity of the concept it can take two or three days just to plan out the fuselage.

Then the engines & weapons usually take another three or four days or even a week.
(working on-and-off sometimes or troubleshooting problems we find)

Then come secondary systems like weapon control assist and flight control assist computers or specialized systems like countermeasures or intelligence equipment.

After that there is alot of field testing to discover and resolve any bugs or defects. Adding, removing, and tuning different aspects to make the craft as effective as possible until it is deemed high quality enough for 1.0 release.

What you don't realise is this guy or his friends that upload to the workshop and many others put in alot of hours building(I spent 10+ hours building the Hull of my Cruiser, and over 5+ hours designing guns for it). Ship building takes a while but thats why they do it so they can share their content with us and show us what people can do/accomplish if they put time into things.
