A piece of info that would benefit with this guide: Scaling research costs. Here's the list, if the author ever comes back to this guide it'd be cool if he adds it. https://renownedexplorers.gamepedia.com/Research
Text: The price scaling increases every six papers, which is how many it takes to complete a single tree. This punishes "dips" heavily, think carefully before you buy two levels in History, they might effectively end up costing 100s of research points and make you unable to complete a later tree.
Tree 1: (10/15/25/35/45/60)
Tree 2: (70/80/90/100/120/150)
Tree 3: (200/250/300/350/400/450)
Tree 4: (500/600/700/800/900/1000)
The wiki has prices for further scaling, I've never gotten more than 6168 research in a game, which is just enough for the 25th research paper, idk if it's actually possible to complete all six research trees.
