This is a 4 bit adder with carry. It is implemented as a half adder and 3 full adders. Each row of buttons is a number with low bit towards the entrance. The output is a series of gates that will all open when your guessed numbers add up to the encoded number. Oh, and the bit order of the output is scrambled. :)
