[Stargate] Abydos - Start System

解説
The home system of the System Lord Ra. My own invention beyond Abydos and its moons, unfortunately, but everything fits the theme.

Possible, yeah. But it would mess up the mod for anyone who didn't have Goa'uld mod. When I get time I might make a non-selectable slave portrait set and add them to the planet.

Would it be possible, when used with the Stargate Goa'uld Species mod you reccomend, for Abydos to start with some jaffa, in a similar way to Dakara?

The Dakara System in the Goa'uld species mod is already prescripted. That isn't set up as an individual system lord, but rather as the System Lord Collective. Just ask Tushjd to convert that to a Fallen Empire. Since its already prescripted, he could probably make the adjustment really quickly with - probably - no more than a few changed lines of code in different places :D:.

Yes... No? Not sure. I'd have to look back through the different system intitializers.

Either way... it wouldn't spawn with a proper species, proper empire name and proper flag unless it was prescripted. Having the plantoid "Bark Republic" randomly spawn as a Fallen Empire on the planet Abydos wouldn't really achieve that Stargate feeling :OhNoBlue:

A pre-scripted Goa'uld empire would definately be cool, though.

If it can spawn randomly at all, it will eventually spawn as a randomly generated Fallen Empire.

It is probably possible. That being said...
Fallen Empires are being massively revamped in the next DLC though, which might break it badly. I don't know what that is going to do to mods/modding.
I also know it would have to be prescripted which means I need to either ask to borrow content from those mods (v) or else make my own equivalent, which I could do. There is no way around that though and either way it is a bit of a hassle.
Its the kind of thing I might do after I'd already made a bunch of Goa'uld systems. I could go through all of them with more or less the same code, same additional files/images etc. and convert them all with a maximum of efficency.
