Why you should read this guide
This is a short and sweet guide on how to remove the black bars on your screen, better known as improving your peripheral vision. This minor change can, and will save your life. Being able to spot a bad guy in the corner of your eye can make the difference, so do not skip out on this guide!
How to Do It.
STEP ONE: In the main menu, when you load up DDD, click "OPTIONS".
STEP TWO: Click "VIDEO".
STEP THREE: Change your resolution so that it's the same as your screen's.
STEP FOUR: Change your aspect ratio, if your native resolution doesn't appear.
STEP FIVE: Restart Dino D-Day.

That's really all there is to it.
But Euri! I don't know what the Hell my computer's screen resolution is!
Some folks out there haven't the slightest idea as to what their computer's screen resolution is. That's not a good thing, but that doesn't really matter. Dino D-Day should automatically register what your computer's screen res is, as it will display "(Native)" next to the res you choose.

For example, my computer's resolution is 1366 x 768. When I select that res, it will be displayed as "1366 x 768 (Native)". This tells me that I won't have black bars on the top of my screen, nor the bottom.

To get to that spot, however, I had to change my aspect ratio to 16:9. Your aspect ratio may be different from the normal 4:3, so you may have to change that until you stumble upon your native resolution.
But Euri! I'm still stuck! HELP!
If you haven't been able to change your screen resolution by now, you need to have either done nothing, or have some serious patten recognition issues.

Alright, I'll hold your hand through this. By default, Dino D-Day will be registered in 800 x 600 pixels, and in the 4:3 aspect ratio. If you seriously have no idea how to do this, then I'll tell you how to in as simple a way as possible.

STEP ONE: Skim through the resolution options by clicking the arrows next to the "800 x 600" number. These arrows appear when your cursor hovers above the numbers. The option will be highlighted in white, and this is true for the vast majority of other setting options in Dino D-Day.

STEP TWO: If the tag (Native) doesn't appear next to any of the numbers, then try the next Aspect Ratio option, 16:9. Skim through the next resolution options until one has the (Native) tag next to it.

STEP THREE: If the tag still hasn't appeared, then one of three things happened: Your Aspect Ratio could be Widescreen 16:10 (which is unlikely), your screen's resolution is an anomaly that doesn't exist within the realm of other screen resolutions, or you didn't notice the (Native) tag. In the case of the latter, good job. Go back to step one, proceed until you spot your native resolution.

If you're still stuck, well then there's literally nothing I can do. I'm not going to make a video tutorial, and I'm most certainly not going to show up in real life to mess with your computer's settings for you. If you have come this far, and you've succeeded, well done!
Alright, I've changed my resolution. The bars are gone. Now what?
What the Hell do you mean, now what? You go out there and shoot some Nazi dinosaurs, that's what! Go, shoot some bad guys! Punch goats! Do something with your newfound vision! Download some of my f***ing mods, if you're still bored! I don't bloody know!
