Creating your thief
This will be a great thief, a good conman, but not so great fighter. While the main focus are thieving skills and non-combat skills, we will win all situations that requite fighting in Teron (and later the arena fights etc).

Abbreviations: CoSP=Combat Skill points, CiSP=Civil Skill points, SP=General Skill points

Attributes:
We need very specific set of attributes:
STR 4 (still plenty of damage, we will use bleeding, poison, crits, bombs etc)
DEX 8 (climbing and several other checks)
CON 5 (this will come handy only very late in game: we will increase con 2x, and con 7 is an interesting threshold)
PER 8 (several checks to notice something, needed to get Ascension Ending)
INT 8 (several checks for good ideas, extra quest, and more SP)
CHA 7 (getting people to talk)

Don't spend skill points until the guide tells you to do so, otherwise you might not make some of the checks...
First quest
You start the game in Cado’s Tavern.

Lucius: Play his shell game, perception success: +2 CiSP
Aziz: Ask about thieves’ guild history, ask to be taught: +10 melee weapon training
Raise Lockpick, Sneak, Steal 1->3
25/0/12
Cado: Start the thieves guild Vignette: stealing from a merchant at the local inn

2) Pick the lock +1 CiSP
3) Steal from trader +1 CiSP
4) Give everything to Cado (will be rewarded handsomely)

+18 SP, Lockpick +10 SP (Lockpick 3->4), Map, Grooved Sphere
25/18/15
Teron: Thief Apprentice
A few words of advice regarding loot:
- Don't sell things until we have Trading:5 unless you really need the money
- Bombs are rare and precious, buy them whenever you can and only use if the guide says so
- Buy all the raw crafting materials and (with high crafting and decent trading) you can make a profit crafting & selling item
- Saving can save you alot of headache, some hard save here and there also useful in case you mess up something.

Things to avoid:
1) Don't infiltrate the Teron palace too early, there are so many skill checks in there that will reward us very nicely.
2) There is a group of thugs in the SW part of town, do not get too close to them (for now).
3) Close to the market square, you will meet a guy called Miltiades. Do not follow him (for now).

Behind The Tavern:
A team of con-men will try the old damsel in distress trick, you catch the fake damsel Livia
-> [Steal success] Nice try, dear +1 CiSP
-> [Thief] option for 2 SP, +1 Forty Thieves reputation
-> Talk to her in The Tavern: Skill 1->2 to Persuasion, Impersonate and Streetwise (worth 15 SP)
25/20/16

5) Chests and barrels 2nd room: +1 CiSP sneaking, iron and steel
25/20/24

Loremaster Feng’s House:

2) Gain +1 CiSP for sneaking, be careful to not get to close to the door
3) Check out the documents for Lore+1 and +5 CiSP
4) Check out the boxes: Feng will notice you, but not before your get +10 CiSP!

3) Gain +12 SP
4) Gain quest: Loremaster's Rivalry (Get rid of Cassius), [trade] for better reward
25/32/18

Go to the palace and talk to Dellar ("talk your way in")
Don't try anything fancy, just let him give you the two quests
Quest: The Aurelian Outpost
Quest: The Raiders

Talk to Dellar again and ask him about his background. He will teach you
and increases by 5: Sword, Dodge, Critical Strike

Visit both the Raiders and the Aurelian outpost for +5 SP each, but don't
approach and just leave area.
25/42/18

Back at Teron, walk towards the city gate to trigger a dialogue. Help Aemolas and the refugees by paying the entrance fee, using [trading] for extra +1 CiSP and a very lucrative quest later.

Travel to Inn
Raise skills: Sneak 3->5
25/31/0

Merchant in front of Inn: You can (a) steal his gold with Steal=4 (+1 CiSP) or (b) con him into paying a new license (+3 CiSP), but we won’t have the required skill until the next time we comeback to Teron Act III, this guide choose (b), think of it as an investment.
Cassius: Our wet work target, leave him alone for now
Storyteller: Listen to his story, notice a flaw in his story (req: INT 8) which leads to a small quest
Alchemist: Buy his alchemy supplies 50g
Innkeeper: pay for a room, [trade] for lower price +1 CiSP

Steal in ground floor rooms:
1) first room : door, sneak in, chest +3 CiSP steel pugio, 2xTopaz

Put your heavy loot into your chest, then leave the inn
25/31/23

For our next thievery, we’ll need a grappling hook. Fortunately, there is a free one at the graveyard (req:PER=>7) found on a less fortunate thief. Also take the time to have a chat with the undertaker.

Raise skill: throwing 1->3
10/31/23

Rob the rich noble widows' villa. North of the healer, near palace entrance.
Knock on door, notice the jewels, wait until dark, [throw] the grappling hook
Sneak in +2 CiSP, door +1 CiSP, take jewels 2 SP, loot kitchen table and the wardrobe
(Note: You can also con her to give you the jewels - but this path yields less SP and less loot)
10/33/26

Next up, the nobleman’s villa, Thessalos, just across Lady Camilla’s.
Sneak into the window and take what’s in the kitchen (1 CiSP, bronze plate), sneak past the guard (req:sneak 5) and loot the dining table (1 CiSP, goblet and plate), sneak to the treasure room, pick lock the door 1 CiSP, there is trap on both chests and we'll leave that for now.
10/33/29
Robbing the palace
This is one of the best, if not THE best thief mission in the game. To ensure we pass every skill check
Raise skills: Traps 1->4, Etiquette 1->3, Crafting 2->3, Critical Strike 1->3
0/7/0

Palace Infiltration

Go to the palace, pick the option "Look for an alternative way in". It’s worth to explore other avenues, but the following path yields the best results for max loot and SP for our thief. Feel free to do so, make sure to save first.
1) Approach guard by the stone wall
2) [Streetwise] the commander wants to see you!
3) [Lockpick] on the gate +1 CiSP (or [sneak] for the same result)
4) Sneak to the right side of the compound
5) Investigate the stone tower
...SNEAK ATTACK! (Critical strike) + 1 CS training
6) Go back. *Warning* You will be forced to fight Flavius if you climb up and take out the guards there (worst of it: you cannot continue to explore afterwards!)
7) Sneak into the guard house +1 CiSP
8) Loot the back of it: sneak & pick lock +2 CiSP nice iron armor & helmet (take them, don't put them on!)
9) Sneak outside toward the right side of the compound
10) Make your way to the east side of the compound

Now we are back where we started from and will infiltrate the main building via the roof:
11) [throw] Throw the grappling hook, then climb up [Str+Dex]
...Get behind the guard...SNEAK ATTACK! (Critical strike) + 1 CS training
11) Land on the bedroom, and read the tractate for +5 CiSP (Etiquette worth 5 SP)
12) [Sneak][Dex] run towards the stairs +1 CiSP (req:Sneak+Dex=12)
13) The room on the RIGHT, wait for the servants to leave +1 CiSP (auto-loot goblets, steel dagger)
14) Check the display room, Examine the displays (Perception, Traps Success!) +1 CiSP
-> Approach the stands
-> Look for a way to open (crafting check)
-> gain 6 CiSP and unidentified scroll
...That’s it for loot
14) Meet Lord Antidas and rewarded with +18 SP
15) Show Map
15) Choose [Etiquette] to be forgiven +2 CiSP
16) Show Map and rewarded again with +18 SP, +rep HD, Maadoran added to map
17) Learn about Antidas House +1 Lore (worth 10 SP)
18) Swear fealty for better reputation (don't worry, you are still a thief!) +2 CiSP, +Rep HD, -Rep HA, -Rep HC

You gained the Infiltrator perk, and a whooping 58 skill points!
That’s it for the palace infiltration.
0/43/22 (and reputation Daratan: 5)
Aurelians vs. Bandits
Let’s prepare how to deal with the quests from Dellar.
Firstly first, The Aurelian camp:
We will pretend to be the Loremaster they're waiting for, Sohrab. So that we'll need Impersonate skill and a : Loremaster’ garment. from a storekeeper in Plaza. And while we are it, let’s prey on the merchants.

Raise skills: Impersonate 2->3, Steal 3>5
0/25/0

Steal from a total of five merchants here,
(a) Two outside the plaza (golden goblets ruby ring)
(b) Three inside (Neurostim, Balms, Crafted Gladius, Crafted Pugio, Golden Plates).
Also ask about the deliveries to one of the merchants here for a price. +5 CiSP
We'll ignore Aemolas for now (need 1 honor)

Travel to the Aurelian Outpost again
First, let’s try to con our way in:
1) Dress as a Loremaster and approach the mine
2) [Impersonate] Loremaster Sohrab
3) A lone traveler attracts less attention
4) [streetwise/impersonate] i just love the dialogue +1 CiSP
5) Fail at [lore] and go back out (note: failing is intentional!)

Next, we try the stealth approach:
1) [sneak] wait till dark +1 CiSP
2) climb over
3) [sneak] inside +1 CiSP
4) Loot barrels and crates here, but not the chest! (it will lock further options)
5) Return to Teron
0/25/8

Visit the supply guy Rhaskos, he's in Shanty Town, equip iron Praetorian armor & Centurion helmet you stole from the palace and the crafted iron Gladius you just stole from the weapon merchant.
Talk to Rhaskos, "Then what do I need you for?"
The heavy armor is very hard to penetrate for his dagger, so just use fast attacks +1 CoSP
Take a look at his stash - we need some poison!

Raise skill: Persuasion 2->3
1/23/0

-> Go to Merchants Plaza, the southern Merchant has some rat poison - for 5 gold that’s fair
-> We need stronger stuff, [persuade] the alchemy merchant to sell you real poison +1 CiSP, don't go to shanty town yet
-> Talk to him again and pay for another rat poison for 5 gold
-> Go back to Rhaskos stash, spike the wine with the better poison and deliver the supplies yourself
-> [impersonate/streetwise] for +2CiSP and +3 SP
1/26/3

That's it for The Outpost, now we travel to the Bandit Camp
Approach camp, talk to Esbenus, the bandit leader
Here to negotiate -> ask about his background (perception + charisma + lore)

1) Back in Teron, Travel to palace and talk to Dellar
2) Explain Situation, but pick [thief] option
3) Talking to Cado, BUT don't choose either option and leave the convo instead!
4) Talk to Cado again, notice the [steal] text is green now, choose it to get +1 CiSP (bug in dialogue)
4) Lockpick the WINDOW (to get extra SP for disarming traps) (+2 CiSP), explore office, Lockpick chest (1SP), take everything AND explore storage room, [perception] to find several quicksilver roots
5) do not give the goblet to Cado, we will use yet another way to solve the Bandit Camp Quest later
1/26/7

Raise Skills: Streetwise 3->4, Lore 3->4
1/13/0

Talk to Dellar again
1) Intelligence: kill two birds with one stone...
2) [Persuasion] it’s a great idea!

Return to the bandit camp
1) I have a better offer (explain plan)
2) [streetwise] provide some incentive (gold... what gold?!^^) +6 CiSP
-> you automatically go to Dellar
3) Very happy Dellar: +12 SP, +1 Prestige, +Rep House Daratan, 100 gold reward
-> you automatically go to the Aurelian Mine
4) Find a half-dead Esbenus, but he got the job done
Give him his well-deserved gold in exchange for WoH +1 and a power tube
5) Go into the mine
6) Complete the ritual to fix the machine, fail [Crafting]...for now +1 Prestige
7) Go back to happy Dellar: 12 SP, +Rep House Daratan, 150 gold reward
1/37/6 (current Daratan rep=13)
A grateful refugee
Important: Must be done while you have Word of Honor: 1

Remember you paid the entrance fee for a refugee at the city gate?
Look for Aemolas at the Merchant plaza, ask him about his village, and after listening to his story and leaving, he will trust you with the location of a hidden gold treasure due to our positive Word of Honor:1.
+2 SP and "Aemolas Gold" quest
It’s important to do this now since we will lose our honor after dealing with Feng's rivalry.

Travel to Aemolas Village (+5 SP exploration).
1) [sneak] to the spot described by Aemolas +1 CiSP
2) [sneak] get to the well +1 CiSP
3) dig out the gold
4) There is two option here,
-> (a) sneak=5, fail to sneak but it's intentional so we can still parley with them later, netting more SP in the grand total
-> (b) sneak=6, sneak success and dig the gold
-> (c) crit strike=5, sneak attack success and dig the gold
this guide assume you choose (a)
5) The bandits are still at the village - and we will deal with them later
1/44/8
A tale of two loremasters
Note: Before resolving this quest, make sure you did the step to get Aemolas quest or you won't be able to get it anymore due to "word of honor" loss. Also, House Daratan Reputation should be 13. If not, maybe you don't have charisma 7 (or better), didn't solve the Aurelian’s & Bandits Quests (including fixing the smelter), or didn't swear fealty during the palace breakin.

Go to the Inn and talk to Cassius
1) Lure him to an abandoned house
2) Streetwise: Leave and never come back
3) Let him leave! Even if you know he is faking it...
... Back to Feng:
4) Cassius is no longer a problem: +3 SP, 100 gold
5) Feng offers you a ring to con Antidas with
6) Accept
7) Ask about Feng’s background, he will give you important information for later (quest: Mysteries of the Abyss), and teach you Trading +1 and 5 CiSP
1/47/13

On to the palace, let’s do the ring con.
1) Seems Cassius went straight to the palace. Lord Antidas isn't amused, but thanks to Persuasion skill, he won't expel us from the city: -3 rep Daratan (to 10)
2) Go back in to see Lord Antidas, give him the ring
3) Instead of another con artist as a partner, we have to deal with an opposing rationalist: Cassius
4) Several streetwise checks later: +2 SP, +2 CiSP, +1 Rep House Daratan (current HD rep=11)
5) Talk to Dellar again to see Cassius
...Since we have enough House Daratan rep, now he will talk to you, and even teach you, despite your previous misdeeds
6) Ask for teaching, +1 Crafting and +5 CiSP
7) Ask him about the drawing in Lord Gaelius Library (from the flaw in the story at the inn) to gain the quest: The Grain of Truth
1/49/20
Teron: Master Thief
Since we don't want our thieves’ guild to feel left out, lets continue with our guild main quest:

2nd Thieves quest: Taking care of business

If you didn't already, go to Cado and ask him what you can do, then to the city gate and talk to the guards
1) Ask about Flavius
2) Ask what the Imperial Guards do (but don't wait for the next shipment)
3) Talk about the pay cuts (but don't pay them off)

Go to the palace and ask to see Flavius
4) Persuade/Streetwise: we can solve his problems +1 CiSP
Go to Kaeso’s House
5) Pick lock +1 CiSP
6) Sneak inside +1 CiSP
7) (Intelligence) Find a loadstone
8) Use it to get the treasure from the well
9) Return to Flavius, but take 200 imperials in cash instead (we won't really need his help later)
1/49/23

Unfortunately, all solutions are mutually exclusive, it would certainly make more sense to bribe the guards AND get a mandate AND get Flavius on your side, but you can only do one (hence we cash out at Flavius)

10) Go back to the gate guards
11) Wait for the next shipment
12) Steal+Impersonate: Take the mandate +1 CiSP
13) Return to Cado and bring him the stolen mandate for 18 SP, +rep Thief, -rep IG
1/67/24

14) Talk to Cado again, he presents his idea of the great gold heist.
-> You could use the demolitions solution for the achievement and demolitions expert perk
-> But the way of the conman gives us more SP...
Use: Intelligence: No direct attack, trick them instead
15) Forge the letter
16) Go to merchants square, and find the merchant standing in the Commercium entrance hall (not behind a stand)
17) Streetwise/impersonate, then steal the ring +1 CiSP
18) For good measure, go back to the market and steal another ring!
19) At the colonnade, join the beggars [impersonate] and [steal] a second ring +1 CiSP
With this, we are ready for the heist of the century, but there are still some things to do before that.
1/67/26

Raise skills: Lockpick 4->5, Traps 4->5
1/53/0

Time for more theft:

At the Inn:
Room on 2nd floor with trapped chest: +1 CiSP trap, +1 CiSP lock, loot

At the nobleman’s villa (N of Merchants plaza, across Lady Camilla’s house)
Sneak to the treasure room
Disarm the traps on the treasure chests +2 CiSP
Unlock chest +1 CiSP, loot both for gold, gems, and a blue steel Marculus (can be used from belt slot)!
1/53/5

Next, let’s check out the ruins of a tower inhabited by some bums on the western city wall (NE of the Boatmen)
1) Go down the hatch
2) Perception: Examine the wall (not the floor)
3) Int + Craft: Fix the pump
4) Take the Jellyfish artifact
5) Go back up
7) the bums want money!
8.a) We can con 'em [streetwise][trade] to make them part with their own money instead +1 CiSP.
8.b) Or we can just slaughter them +1 CoSP.
either option is fine, but i choose a) because we are a thief and conman, not a murderhobo
9) and +2SP on top.
1/55/6
Fighter
There is only one quest that absolutely requires fighting, but it shouldn't be ignored since it’s the start of a long questline that will continue in the next cities. Time to make a fighter out of our thief.

Raise skills: Crafting 4>6, Alchemy 1>2
1/16/0

Go to the blacksmith, buy schematics for Swords, Standard crossbows, Missiles, Heavy metal, Helmets and Shields. Time to craft some equipment. The iron you found, the iron & wood
you can buy from the blacksmith and the iron you get from decomposing the legionary armor and helmet should be enough for your needs.

Offhand: 1 hand crossbow (masterwork, mechanical)
Ranged: 1 heavy crossbow (masterwork, mechanical)
Melee hand 1: Steel Khopesh (Balanced, Masterwork) 12% THC & 20% chance to bleed! Nice
Melee hand 2: Buckler (Hardened, Masterwork)
Helmet: Iron Murmillo Helmet (Hardened, Reinforced)
Armor: Iron Ordu Armor (Hardened, Reinforced).
*) High DR, hardness and vsCS will let you survive any fights in Teron even with low combat skills.

Craft 20 regular iron arrow, buy a sharpening stone from blacksmith, and buy one bomb from merchant in front of Inn.
Sharpen your sword, then coat both your arrow and sword with the rat poison (or make your own, if you forget to buy it earlier, hence the +1 on alchemy).

Let’s put some points into combat skill as well
Raise skills Sword & Block to 2
0/7/0

Remember Miltiades at the east of the Market place? I warned you about him in the very first chapter, but now it’s time to walk into his trap well prepared... (quick save before talking to him)

Put bomb in one belt slot, heavy crossbow in main hand, and hand crossbow in the other belt. Let's talk to our soon-to-be partner in crime.
1) Go into the house and fight (don't run)
2) It’s IMPORTANT to act first (quick reload if u don’t), I would throw a bomb knocking the Merc with the axe (or even better, both enemies)
3) Aimed torso to kill the knocked down enemy with your heavy crossbow
4) Hit the other enemy with light crossbow (or the Merc if he's still alive), then switch to sword & shield to finish him
+2 CoSP, loot
Heal up using balm

5) Pick the lock of the door (+1 CiSP), loot the chest
6) Open the door to confront Miltiades
7) Let him talk and agree to his next scheme
8) Turns out the nobleman was conned (and so were you, again!)
9) Avoid the fight with Charisma+Persuasion: +3 CiSP (you can win the fight but will need bombs and yields 1 less SP, so it's a loss)
10) Find Miltiades next to Cado’s Tavern and accept his money (and apology, kinda). +4 SP, 472 gold, not too bad...
2/11/4

To the east of Cado’s Tavern, there is another (optional) fight. A bunch of thugs want our money
a) Use the [thief] option but you take half their money and for +1 CiSP only
b) Kill them for their insolence and take their money instead!
We'll choose b) obviously!

1) Approach (don’t forget your dagger)
2) Use critical strike on the boss +1 CS training
3) Proceed to man fight them with Sword & Shield +2 CoSP - The hammer guy might be troublesome as he can dent your armor, kill him first.
4/11/4

Don’t forget to re-coat poison and re-sharpen your weapon again, bring some nets and make 3-4 healing salves.

Let’s travel to Shanty Town. Approach the Kebab Seller and take a bite. Run after the thief, but here you can choose either
(a) use thief/bodycount option to get your money back (+2 SP), or
(b) fight the thief and his fellow guard (+2 SP +1 CoSP), this guide assume you choose b)
Using net and a combination of aerial strike + aimed torso should be enough to kill the guard. Use balms to stop bleeding if needed.
Loot the bodies, we got back our gold plus more, and some metals too.
Upon leaving the area, a group of Daratan guards lead by a captain will demand 200g as blood money for the recent event, ah well, the price for one extra skill point.

And that marks all the skill points we can squeeze from the optional fights and all the side-quests in Teron, lastly...
Raise skill: Alchemy 2 ->3
5/7/0
The Heist
*Warning: Point of no return!* This will end your time in Teron for a long time (until Arc III), so make sure you got everything you need

Time to wrap up:

There is a priest on the central square. The conversation has a great option that’s only available for extremely charismatic characters (the base stat, so not you).
You also can make him doubt his faith with a [persuade] (4) option. But the best thing for our thief is really to just let him talk, introduce yourself and ask regular questions, then tell him you will think about it for +1 reputation (House Crassus).

  • Visit the weapon merchant in plaza, the merchant in front of Inn and Kleitos inside the Tavern. Buy all the bombs, bolas and nets to make some future fights easier, and possible even. Also supplies will be limited later on. Don't forget to buy bombs from Kleitos too in the Tavern, pricier but worth every penny.
  • Visit the blacksmith to buy all whetstones and all the raw(!) crafting materials, they're dirt cheap and will always give a profit if sold as crafted goods. With higher crafting & trade skill, the profit will start to skyrocket.
  • Some alchemy ingredients sold by Alchemy trader are also indispensable because of it's usefulness even at low level Alchemy, namely Black powder, Rock oil & Cassava roots. You can buy other useful ingredients like Goldenberry, Emoryl root and Quicksilver roots, but it's not mandatory.
  • If you didn't already, harvest the alchemy ingredients in Teron (Total 9 ingredients here, 2 are near Barracks with high perception check) and the bandit camp (Total 6 ingredients here).

Make sure you bought everything you want but try not to overspend, gold will be use later in the next city to get extra skill points. Now this quest will be a point of no return for the city. Put everything you don't need for the quest into your stash, it will travel with you to the next city later. Just bring your full gear, a dagger (very important) and your gold.

*Important*
Travel to the Outpost and enter the mine, passing the faction check dialogue with the Daratan Decanus, this will make sure we can get back there even after House Daratan is a bit less happy with us. (Rep check House Daratan = 10)

Make a hard save here.
Go to Cado’s Tavern
1) Show ring, talk again to tell Cado you are ready
2) Go to ambush site
3) [Impersonate] change of plans
4) Hand over letter and ring -> they believe you are on their side, and divert the shipment ^^
5) At the safe house, it would be easy to get the leader to recall the lone guard - but we won't...
Instead, sometime later...
SNEAK ATTTACK (critical strike) +1 CS training
6) Get all gold crates (1 CiSP per crate, 4 CiSP total)
7) Cado is very happy (and rich): +18 SP, 350 gold, +rep Forty Thieves, -rep Commercium
1/19/4

Now we have the gold, but we need to get away with it. Riots on the streets, guards at the gates...
First, talk to everyone but Cado about the upcoming events

Lucius: Critical Strike +1 (3->4), +5 CoSP, +1 Combat Skill Training
Livia: Will also leave for the big city
Aziz: killing is actually a pretty solid solution to many problems...
Kleitos: Has restocked his inventory, buy more bombs
6/19/4

Finally, talk To Cado and start to flee the city.

There are three parts to the mission: city streets, city gate, and outside the city. Different approaches for each.
From fighting/diplomacy/combination are available for each section:
If you choose fights every time, you'll get the perk "Killer of man"
If you go all conman/diplomacy, you'll get the perk "silver tongued devil".
These perks are nothing but for show (or to unlock achievement). Make sure to re-equip your gear.

Streets:
a) Talk/Stealth: Create a diversion +1 CiSP
b) Easy fight vs. looters (your crossbowmen will handle it) +1 CoSP and some bronze metals

Gate:
a) Talk: Impersonate/Streetwise: Important mission by Antidas +1 CiSP, no rep drops.
b) Fight: other options, sneak up on guard +1 CiSP, SNEAK ATTACK (+1 CS) on crossbowman, then go down the platform to help the others. +2 CoSP, -2 Rep House Daratan. Don't forget to heal yourself.

Outside:
a) Talk: Go to camp, multiple Streetwise checks: Mission by Antidas +3 CiSP
b) Fight: Outside (fighting near camp is harder). This fight will be hard if you try to confront yourself, your best bet is to kite them away and let Lucius and our guildmates to pick them one by one. Avoid getting surrounded, use bomb if needed but don't use too many (ideally 1 bomb). +2 CoSP, -rep Commercium and loot (decompose then prioritize leather & Iron)
c) SNEAK ATTACK on Merc for +1 CS training and sneak away +1 CiSP

For the best result, choose a), b), a) in that order. Killer of Men perk
Gain 24 SP, +1 Prestige, +Thieves Rep, -Commercium Rep for fleeing the city.
…and another 15 SP for reaching Maadoran.
12/64/9

That marks the end of the first Arc, Teron.
Maadoran will be filled with tougher enemies and side-quests with higher skill check, the skill points allocation will be even tighter as well. But much better weapons and gears can also be found here, and the SP rewards will be plentiful too!
But in order to replicate our successful heist again in this city, you’re gonna need a careful planning!
And so, let's continue our journey. Steal Everything: A thieves guide to Maadoran

Regarding Feng's house: You can absolutely check both the documents and the box without Feng noticing you. It's based on the distance to the door, just approach from the opposite side and advance very slowly until you can click the box, then retreat the way you came.

I made it to Maadoran with 3/62/8 unspent SP, talking past the Daratan gate guards and not killing the kebab thief to avoid the reputation losses. Combat skills of 1/2/1/1/1/1/1/3 1/3/3, civil skills of 5/5/4/5/3/3/4/4/2/6/4/3. Great job on the logic of this guide that values 2 SP > 1 CiSP > 1 CoSP > loot.

STR 5 allows you to rob Camilla's house with the climbing hook without buying Throwing 3, but not the palace, so it's pointless for checks. CHA 4 forces you to kill the nobleman that Miltiades conned in the second fight, but I was able to do it without a bomb by retreating to the tile next to the stove and taking them one at a time. It also prevents you from reaching a Daratan reputation of 10 to get back into the mine or talk to Cassius after luring him.

The comprehensive guide to getting maximum skill points out of Act I. I'm doing an Aurelian Praetor playthrough and just followed along to make sure that I didn't miss anything. With a statline of 5/8/5/8/10/4, it's possible to get everything time-sensitive done before leaving Teron, but trading INT for CHA does not yield more SP, since you miss all of the character training after the vignette. I just barely scraped together the last 40 SP to buy Lockpick and Traps 5 to finish looting Thessalos' house and the inn, but had to leave the merchants that required Steal 5 and the foragables that took Alchemy 3.

It will probably be a while till i get to it since i have a huge backlog & currently want to play Solasta, Baldurs Gate 3, Pathfinder and of course Colony Ship rather than continuing the guides. But imo if you follow the first 2 guides, you should have good enough stats & equipment for most challenges. Don't remember hp loss, but my last thief playthroughs switched to praetor....

i didnt have etiquette 3 when swearing to antidas, serves me right for trying to save some skillpoints:)
are you planning to do a gannezar thief guide? im trying to find a way to not loose permanent hp while gannezars castle.

Hi razvedchiki, Daratan Reputation should be 13 before you start the two loremaster section. If not, maybe you don't have charisma 7 (or better), or didn't solve the Aurelians & Bandits Quests (including fixing the smelter!), or didn't swear fealty during the palace break-in? I just did a quick test run and it worked as described for me. Added reputation values to the guide so its easier to notice when something is missed...

sorry for the double post, i followed the guide with the same stat allocation and untill doing the loremasters quest i had 11 house daratan rep. after streetiwise cassius to leave town and returning to antidas i lost 3 rep and ended with 8. the result is that i cassius wont speak to me.
how much rep you had after clearing bandit camp/oupost/palace infiltration?
