Turiane

Description
Turiane is a standard CTF symmetrical map. It consists of 2 big bases facing each other in the desert, surrounded by farms.
The art style was inspired by the original maps, CTF Turbine and CP Gravelpit.

Objective: Your mission is to infiltrate the enemy base, steal their intelligence and return it safely back to your control room. This map allows players to access the bases through many entry points, allowing freedom of choice and approach. You can think of several strategies with your team to conquer the objective.

I just noticed that the map is not being placed in the correct directory on steam when downloaded, so for those of you wondering how fix this, here's a solution:

So guys, the method to load the map has changed. Now you need to copy the map id located in the URL of this very page. You just have to open the game, then open the console and type this: map workshop/767327356
Then you'll be able to play in the map. I hope this helps!

Hey Salty_Pepper, all you have to do is follow theses paths that I wrote. Open your file explorer and locate your steam directory, the workshop directory and TF2 directory are inside the steam directory. It is simple as that:
path to the workshop file: Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/440/767327356 (find the file and copy)
path to TF2 map directory: Steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/map (paste the file)

Thanks Filha da Vera, but I've looked in the steam workshop directory and am struggling to find it. Where is it in the directory? And also, where is the TF2 maps directory? Again, I apoligize if this is rather obvious.

Hello Salty_Pepper! THE POOP wrote a small explanation in the map description on how to fix this issue. Here it is:

- After subscribing, your pc will automatically download the map, but you have to find the map in your steam workshop directory, since the steam workshop doesn't save it in the right place, and copy the .bsp file to your TF2 maps directory:

For example, in my computer I could find the .bsp file in this path:
Steam/steamapps/workshop/content/440/767327356

Then you just have to copy the file and paste it in this path:
Steam/steamapps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/maps

I really like this map, but I'm struggling to download it. I've subscribed, but where do I find it in the steam workshop directory, and where it the TF2 map directory? Sorry if this is rather obvious, but I need some help.

Since CTF is my "normal" gamemode to play, this map would totally be in the game.

Hey everyone, I just updated the map with the newest version, and the biggest difference is with those big windows, I left only one window open now, to make the map more balanced.
I hope you all like the changes!!
