Foreword
Following this guide you will reach the ending of the game, unlock all CG art in the gallery, and unlock the "Extra" epilogue. I have made every effort to avoid spoilers, where possible. I do not know if this is the only way to reach the ending, or that all steps are absolutely necessary. This guide assumes you have not played the game whatsoever, or are choosing "New Games" at the title menu. Some dialogue choices unlock as you play, and may be unlocked already if you have previously played the game.

Due to the possibility of future translation updates, there is a chance the choices shown in this guide will not match the exact wording used. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

To the left of the wooden crate are some trees. Click between the trees closest to the wooden crate to examine the fence. The third bar on the left is bent, click it.

You will now find yourself on a partially obscured map. You move around the map by clicking Choose route and then clicking on a red marker to move to it. There appears to be some randomness to this puzzle, but I will try to explain what you need to do.

You will start the puzzle at the bent fence in the top-left corner of the map. Heading to the right you will reach a Dog House. You will need to choose Make dog shouting until you see the message Evidently no time to shut the door. This means that the gate on the south end of the map is open. Using Choose route, move south to the Square, south again to an unmarked patch of forest, then east twice so you are on the right side of the Inside Door.

From here choose the bottom marker to reach the Cabin. Choose The small cabin door to find out the door is locked. Retrace your steps until you are back at the Dog House. Continue choosing Make dog shouting until you see the message I hear the sound of doors shattering. This means the cabin door is now open.

Follow the same path south as you previously did to reach the Cabin. Choose The small cabin door to get the library key. Using Choose route move north twice to reach Main Door. Choose Main entrance of the library to enter the library.

You will come to a series of choices which ask you to pick The door on the left., The middle door, or The door on the right. Your choice here does not matter, simply pick any door three times.

Choose Survey the Bookshelf.

You will be prompted once more to pick The door on the left., The middle door, or The door on the right. The choice does not matter, pick any of them.

Choose The bookshelves on the right

You will now need to repeat the same choice of rooms five times, but this time your choices do matter. Before choosing a room you will be told which kerosene lamp is brighter. Pay careful attention to this, as the answer is random. If you miss the message about the lamps, scroll the mouse wheel up to view past messages.

When the kerosene lamp on the left is brighter, choose The door on the left.
When the kerosene lamp on the right is brighter, choose The door on the right.
If both kerosene lamps burn brightly, choose The middle door.

Choose Run away
Choose Check the bookshelf
Choose Check the broken book
Choose Follow debris of The Holy Book
Choose The door behind me

You will now find yourself in the first of two stealth puzzles The puzzle is a grid of squares 10 long and 5 squares high. Your goal is to reach the beam of light on the opposite end of the grid by moving one square at a time either up, down, left, or right using the compass in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can also wait and not move at all by clicking the square in the center of the compass. Moving around the grid are four separate red squares, each 2 squares long and 2 squares high. These red squares represent search lights, which move in a predetermined path.

If you are caught by a searchlight, the game ends. It does not matter if the searchlight appears to touch you, as long as you end your move in a square not occupied by the searchlight.

Conclusion
You have now finished God's One Day World. There is a brief epilogue that can be viewed after completing the game by clicking Special and then Extra.

Aside from the ending you have reached, there are many, many ways to reach a different ending. While the paths you take to get there are different, the result is always the same. You may learn a bit more about the world by taking some of these paths, however I feel they are outside the scope of this guide, which only serves to get you to the full ending.

I hope this guide helped you, and that you enjoyed the game as much as I did.

I'd appreciate that. When I have some spare time I'll try reloading the save, se if I can make the solution change. I know some of the puzzles do have random elements, so it wouldn't surprise me if this one does too.

Well, I just finished the game ( and I'm havin trouble putting my heart back into one piece right now ;-; )! I don't want to run half the game to get to this stealth puzzle again, at least not today. I'll update you if I do in the future.

Yup, pretty sure I followed the instructions precisely. There might be some random patterns yep, not sure. After I'm done with the game I will test the solution again and update you! Very nice guide btw!

Hi m3sh. Thanks for the feedback. I tested the solution again, and found that waiting 4 turns in front of the bookshelf before exiting caused me to die. Waiting 2 turns worked though, and you might even be be able to get away with waiting a single turn there. Are you sure you followed the instructions exactly? It may be there is an element of randomness in where the spectres begin their patrols.

Hey there, thx for the guide! In the library, during the 2nd stealth puzzle, I had to wait 4 turns instead of 2 before going Up-Up-Right to the exit!
