How to get 100% Achievement Progress in Serious Sam Classics: Revolution
By GABBA-[CRO]
Serious Sam Classics: Revolution is a unified version of the Croteam's original Serious Sam Classic: The First Encounter and Serious Sam Classic: The Second Encounter experience, which was developed by Alligator Pit and Croteam. There isn't any guide on how to get 100% Achievement Progress in the game so here it is!

I hope you're gonna have fun while 100%ing this game!

Welcome
Welcome to the guide on the road to 100% achievement completion. I did this guide because there isn't any guide on how to obtain 100% achievements. I recommend you to watch some videos for certain achievements since there are some pretty agitatting achievements to be obtained.
Singleplayer Achievements - The First Encounter and Survival
Forth to the past
  • Objective: Complete the first Egypt level.

Fairly easy achievement to get, just finish the first level of The First Encounter

There used to be an alligator pit here
  • Objective: Unfortunately, we don't have the right model for it, so this'll do.

This is an easy achievement to get as long as you know where this alligator pit is. Here's a video and if you cannot jump with the Rocket Launcher, you can just jump around the wall. Here's a screenshot of it. Thank you Knightwolf for your help with this!

There can be only one!
  • Objective: Kill the Highlander in Valley of the Kings.

If you're playing on higher difficulties then this achievement is a bit harder to get. This is also the first boss you'll encounter. You'll know if it is a boss by a Health Bar that you're gonna have in high middle of the screen.Destroy him.

Change of scenery
  • Objective: Find Moon Mountains.

This is one of the Secret Levels, kinda hard to get if you don't pay attention. Video will get you a better explanation on how to get this. Click here. Watch 33:15 till the end.

With our powers combined
  • Objective: All Elementals acquired.

You're gonna get this achievement while progressing through singleplayer. You can't miss it.

Stuff of Legends
  • Objective: Find the XL4P Beam Gun outside of Bright Island.

Not hard to find. Here's a video.

The talk of parties
  • Objective: Defeat the giant lava golem.

This is the third boss you will encounter. If you're playing on higher difficulties then this achievement is a bit harder to get. Just destroy him.

A message to the stars
  • Objective: Find the rising obelisk.

Easy achievement to get. You'll get this while progressing through singleplayer.

Yes, I'd like to kill more monsters
  • Objective: Find Sacred Yards.

Easy achievement to get. Here's a video.

The Good, the Bad and the Enormous
  • Objective: Finish The First Encounter on single player.

The description says it all. Just complete The First Encounter on any difficulty.

I am Ugh-Zan
  • Objective: In singleplayer, beat the last level of The First Encounter or the last level in The Second Encounter in the "I am Ugh-Zan" difficulty.

Ask God to help you with this one. It's hard like a freaking titanium. It took me 3 hours to get this one!

Bouncy Survival
  • Objective: Find a secret bouncing rock.

It's on a Survival map named Mental's Needle. Here's a video on how to get it.

Christmas 2014
  • Objective: Get the gold medal on the Christmas 2014 survival level.

This achievement is pretty hard to get. To get the Gold Medal you will have to survive for 4 minutes and 30 seconds. Good luck with that! Also some tips that seem to make this easier:
    1. Try the challenge in 3rd person view - that helped me out a ton with FOV. Seeing if you're about to be surrounded much easier.
    2. Within the first 3 minutes run clockwise. The suicide bombers spawn on your 2 o' clock from the start. From then to the end, go counter-clockwise, since their spawn points switch (or just spawn from all sides, I couldn't really see).
    3. At around 3:15 - 3:30 grab the serious damage and mega health, that's your game changer.
    4. Whenever a fiend demon appears (tossing the orange fireballs) they should be your priority. The fireballs can knock you back into a mob and you can easily get crushed.
    5. There are quite a few health pickups and 2 armor spawns. Replenish those as often as needed. Be sure to kite the mobs behind you to not get surrounded too quickly.
    Thanks for the tips Yaff.
Singleplayer Achievements - The Second Encounter
Impossible
  • Objective: This achievement is impossible to get.

This achievement is easy to get. You'll have to pass a certain amount of time on Normal difficulty(I had done it on Normal) with only 1 HP. Here's a video for any additional help.

Jumping is overrated
  • Objective: Finish the first level of The Second Encounter without jumping in at least normal difficulty.

It's easy. All I did to get it easilly was to Unbound my Jump key.

That all you got?
  • Objective: Finish the first level of The Second Encounter taking no damage in at least normal difficulty.

It's a mediocre achievement to get. Just dodge and kill everything you see and that's all the wisdom to this.

Who needs kills, anyway?
  • Objective: Kill less than 8 enemies on the first level of The Second Encounter in at least normal difficulty.

This is a pretty frustrating achievement to get. When you kill 7 enemies to pass that 1 area then some stupid alien decides to drown - it counts as if you had killed it and you fail to get the achievement. Here's a video to help you get through this!

Too Serious for weapons
  • Objective: Complete a level in The Second Encounter using only the knife on at least normal difficulty.

This is also a hard achievement since you can't and mustn't use any other weapon besides Combat Knife. Here's a video to show you how it's done.

Guns are seriously useless
  • Objective: Finish 2 levels in The Second Encounter using only the knife in at least normal difficulty.

I had passed the first level 2 times and it counted for the achievement. So why the heck not?! I also got information that you can Quick Save before the end of the first level you played only with the Combat Knife. Reload the save and finish the level again to get the achievement. Thanks to multiple people that pointed this out!

No Fridge to Hide
  • Objective: Obtain the Crystal Skull.

This achievement is easy to get. You can't miss it while gettting through the campaign!

Newton's worst enemy
  • Objective: Mess with the gravity for a total of 60 minutes.

I had done the achievement in the last room/chamber on the level named City of the Gods.

Stop jumping!
  • Objective: Kill 5000 marsh-hoppers with the chainsaw.

I had grinded out the achievement on the level The Pit. When you enter the room named Newton's Worst Nightmare(named like that by NETRICSA) take out that good 'ol Chainsaw hit that Quick Save button and let the Chainsaw sing the song of death and murder! And then rinse and repeat.

Going with the Wind
  • Objective: Kill the boss and complete the South America episode.

    The description says it all.

Once Upon a Time in Babylon
  • Objective: Kill the boss and complete the Persia episode.

Again, the description is quite accurate.

Plasma King
  • Objective: Find a secret Plasmathrower in The Second Encounter.

This achievement isn't hard to get. Here's a video to help out!

Secret Detonator
  • Objective: Find a secret Minelayer in The Second Encounter.

Easy to get. Here's a video to help you out.

Mine Trap
  • Objective: Kill 100 monsters with mines.

Save the Minelayer for the last level and use it there for maximum effect!

Sam I Am
  • Objective: Kill 100.001 enemies.

One of them grinding achievements. I've done it on the last level of The Second Encounter, Quick Saved a location with a lot of enemies around me, activated the Serious Bomb and then Quick Loaded till the achievement popped up! Simple as that! Another solution to this was made by puddingtopf which you can check out here.

Damager
  • Objective: Deal a total of 1 million damage to enemies.

If you're grinding for Sam I Am achievement, this should pop up on the way!

Million Funerals and No Wedding
  • Objective: Kill the boss and complete the Medieval episode.

The description is all you need to know.

The Second Encounter
  • Objective: Finish The Second Encounter on single player.

I have nothing else to say, achievement description says it all!
Singleplayer Achievements - Bright Island
Familiar Scenery
  • Objective: Find Bright Island's first secret level.

When you defeat the boss on Sunken Pyramid, you need to go into a long hallway to exit the level. But instead of going into it, go round left side of the hallway. There's a switch, flip it and the secret exit platform will be usable. To reach this secret platform, go into said hallway and step on the first platform, which is the normal exit, and get off of it. You'll see a second platform underneath it, step on it and ride to the secret exit!

Not Quite A Resort
  • Objective: Find Bright Island's second secret level.

This secret level is found at the end of the level called Forlorn Ruins. After you defeat the last wave of enemies and the portal opens up, go behind it and you'll see a botton. Push it and you'll enter the secret level when you go through the portal.

Bright Island
  • Objective: Finish the Bright Island campaign in single player.

    The objective is self-explanatory.
Multiplayer Achievements
Friendly First Encounter
  • Objective: Finish The First Encounter in cooperative.

The description is really accurate on what you should do, but be warned: the game tends to crash a lot(1 to 2 times per level) if you connect to a host. If you host then others will be disconnected. So yeah, that's it. Just host the game in Cooperative in split screen and only play the last level to get the achievement(thanks to GET ON YOUR DANCING SHOES and SLAYER [☠] for this information.).

Friendly Second Encounter
  • Objective: Finish The Second Encounter in cooperative.

The description says it all, but another warning: stats aren't saved after you finish the level so if you disconnect(in TSE it doesn't crash) or stop playing you'll lose all the progress that you have made. So you'll have to get through the game in one run - it'll take 1 hour and 30 minutes if you're speedrunning. Just host the game in Cooperative in split screen and only play the last level to get the achievement(thanks to GET ON YOUR DANCING SHOES and SLAYER [☠] for this information.).

Friendly Bright Island
  • Objective: Finish the Bright Island campaign in cooperative.

The objective is easy to complete. Just host the game in Cooperative in split screen and only play the last level to get the achievement.(thanks to tim.doherty and SLAYER [☠] for this info!).

Afterlife
  • Objective: Kill an enemy player while you're dead.

Take the Rocket Luncher and let the enemy take the Rocket Luncher, fire at the same time and you'll get the achievement. Can be done in split screen mode by yourself. Thanks to propelerhead for this information.

Fireworks
  • Objective: Using explosive weapons, kill 10 people in a row.

Take the Rocket Luncher and kill people 10 times in a row! Can be done in split screen mode by yourself. Thanks to propelerhead for this information.

Road runner
  • Objective: In a match of at least 6 players, run 2 kilometers without getting killed.

You can join as 4 people and have your friend join as 4 people and then just run around the map.

Serious Killer
  • Objective: Kill 500 people.

The description says it all, just kill everyone you see. Also can be obtained if you join a server as 2 or more players so you can essentially kill yourself until you get the achievement. Thanks to Brighton the Ice Dragon for this great piece of info!

Friendly Mine Trap
  • Objective: Kill 50 players with mines.

Minelayers can be found on CTF map called Eclipse, kill 'em all! Can be done in split screen mode by yourself. Thanks to propelerhead for the information.

Oh and to even unlock "I am Ugh-Zan" difficulty you have to play through the whole game on "mental" difficutly and for that one you first have to play through the game on "serious" difficulty...
or instead just type in the following command in the console to instantly unlock all difficulties:

"I am Ugh-Zan" is actually pretty easy. As you can actually get this in coop split screen even though the description says Singleplayer. And in coop just use a buch of modificatiors like infinite ammo, 10k hp, high walking speed, high fire rate. I played the grand cathedral level for this which was pretty easy.

And follow this guide

to get the Christmas 2014 achievement way easier

Sadly leaderboards are non functional broken abandoned. Some new survival maps scores simply do not register and are bugged. Any existing score if you beat better does not update.

The coop trick to only play through the last level of a campaign workes, however for TSE you will not get the achievement if you quickly go into the cathedral after killing the boss. You actually have to wait quite a few seconds after killing him, then the achiev pops up.

Thanks for the guide! However I think I found a better way to farm "Stop jumping!".
In the second level of Bright Island - Ruins of the Abyss there will be like 5 marsh hopper spawners at the end in the arena fight. They will infinitly spawn hoppers for you to kill

A friend and I recently finished TSE in coop where we played the full campaign but reloaded saves over the course of a few days. We did get the achievement to pop. But it seems people's experiences vary here.

I am, Ugh Zhan use Grand cathedral. First spawn area Fight duck behind right side minaret kill soldiers. Then step out finish rest. Ammo use very limited big enemies are 2x-4x stronger. Then hide in secret shield corner using 3rd person view to see enemies. Lure kleers 1 by 1 to corner when they pass your side reduce numbers then step out. This corner is best to run back to and hide during every big wave of mechs. if you hide long enough big mechs teleport on other side of the yards giving you breather. in final meteor yard there is one corner near the final fight door with to rocket jump inside check where. Else you need wait near big walls in meteor yard and wait lot of as meteors hit really hard, thin out enemies from distance run in when safe along the main path to grab ammo.

At the time I didn't use any strategies to do it, just winged it. Will update the guide with your useful tips.
Yaff 24 Jul @ 8:15am
"Good luck with that!"
Thanks, very guide-y.

Here are some useful tips when you're doing the 2014 christmas challenge:
