as of 8-8-2023: If this addon does not work for you, try this one https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3015807341 apparently, it has been fixed to work with newer versions of the gmod.

This addon fixes the High Energy Pellet Launchers in Portal maps so that they actually fire pellets! You can even use a portal gun addon or the physgun to solve tests with these elements! This addon also fixes the elevators at the end of tests, so that they actually appear and can be ridden!

This addon only affects maps that were made for Portal (either from mounting Portal, or from Portal mods like Portal Pro or Portal Prequel). If you don't have any of those maps, this won't do much for you.

Known Issues:
-You can occasionally get stuck in the elevator
Just noclip out and you'll be fine. The model seems to get stuck sometimes. Also, when you die and respawn, the elevator doors may be closed; this is a side effect of playing a single player map in a mulitplayer game.

-Energy Pellets sometimes go off course
For some reason, the pellets like to aim themselves towards players when bouncing sometimes. I have no idea how to fix this :I

This addon hasn't been maintained for years now. There is a link in the description to an addon that wanted to continue the work this one started, hopefully that works for you! :8bitheart:

making contact with the aperture science high energy pellet will cause disabilitys such as vaporization

Really? That'd be wonderful! Fixing this addons already janky energy pellet code was unmanageable, but scaling it back to just be the elevators would be pretty easy.

Hi! Seems like Rubat actually natively added in proper functionality for the energy pellets. The elevator portion is still relevant, though.

A gmod update broke it. I looked into it recently, but I've honestly lost track of how it worked in the first place, let alone what went wrong. That other issue where they keep spawning has been noticed, I've no idea why that happens either.
