Hello and welcome to my LoveBeat Guide! I am PunchGamer in-game and you can find me in LoveBeat almost daily dancing to the beat! :) In this guide I am going to be helping you get started in LoveBeat and where you should start in order to improve overtime in LoveBeat as you go and how systems such as: FAM and couple/married work along with the nice variety of modes + options that LoveBeat Steam has to offer!

Firstly when you launch up LoveBeat, you will be shown with a gender selector, once you select one this can not be changed in the game but your name however can be changed! (you might want a couple name so this is usually when people like to change names, more about couples later on! :) )

Once you have chosen your gender, you can then go onto customising your avatar from the selection available (at this screen you will not have much to choose from, this is just a basic look how you start) You can then go on to choosing a name for your chracter which will then take you on through to the tutorial (if you are a returning player from Game&Game, you do not need to do this, you can migrate your account from there and continue from where you left off so if you have a level 45 chracter, he/she is not lost! :D)


Back to New Players, if you are new then once you have created your chracter and chosen a name for he/she, you are not quite ready to go LoveBeating, you will be greeted with a Tutorial! :) In this tutorial, it will go over how the decision line works and how Space timing is done, they will give you a slow song so not to worry and even if you think your bad at rhythm games, LoveBeat is more friendly to newcomers I find since if you miss parts of a line, you still get Score! :)
Miss,Bad,Normal,Cool!,Wow! Are the titles you can get depending on how you do!

Once you have completed the tutorial, you will be given rewards and then go on to this screen! Here is where your LoveBeat experiance begins! :D Here you have a public chat, where you can find other players to play with or using something called Promotion Text (the megaphone in the gold square) to promote your room to people, you can also do this across all the servers! :) You can use Hearts or redeem these from the mail and even if its a general message, you can shout that too! You also have your Create Game, Find via room number, and Quick Join options too along with at the top there being:
Mission (only tutorial currently)
Rankings (see where you friends and other dancers rank!)
Stamp (you will be greeted with a message telling you to do this daily, you gain WaterMelon Mount for 100% attendance and can use your stamps on rewards!)
Event (shown by the Heart icon, where you can reccomend LoveBeat to friend, newcomer rewards and get daily gifts!)
Store (where you can buy clothing for your avatar along with: skins,poses, accessories, chat bubbles etc. You will have fun spending time in the Store! :) )
Inventory (where you can view your storage of items + clothing)
Community (friendslist and who's playing in your channel, you can have a max of up to 100 friends via extension by using beats)
MailBox (rewards you earn can be found here along with messages!)
Option (change game settings e.g. lower visuals)
Notice & Event (to see the going on's in LoveBeat)

To join a lobby, double click it and you will enter the lobby of your choice! :)

Welcome to the waiting room, here is the room you go to just before your game begins! :) Here you can socialize with your friends and interact with them in many ways such as:
Sending them Hearts
Using a variety of emotes like Hug and Kiss to greet one another
You can walk around the room or ride around on your mount which you can buy from the Store! :)

This is the "Player Menu" where you can perform many tasks:
User Info - where you can view yours or another Dancer's information (Individual,Couple,FAM)

Send couple request - only applys if you have a couple card! :)

View style - If you would like to view the clothing items of a dancer, you can do so here and even reserve them for yourself!

Add friend - add the following Dancer

Message - if you would like to send them a message, you can do so here!

<3 Send - Send over a bunch of hearts to show friendship/love (Hearts are a form of currency too for things such as emotes and chat bubbles!)

Emotion 1 - Emotes you can do at someone or for your avatar to do e.g. Bus Dance

Emotion 2 - Extra emotes to be found here such as: Swing Dance or the new fear emotion.

Mutal Emotion - Hug, Kiss, Tame your friend/couple!

Pet emotions - If you have a pet, you can have them do emotions too! :)

In addition, you can have different type of rooms: Normal Basic or VIP which gives extra exp and beats, you can buy these from the store or earn from stamp reward + daily gifts!
You can also Observe if you need to be right back!

Once you are ready to do so, you can dance with the other dancers in the waiting room and aim for that 1st place spot! :) There are a very nice variety of modes to choose from which are both individual and team-based along with some great modes to play with your couple/friend or even ones to find the one for you maybe! ;) The modes are as follows:

Individual Classic - The classic mode of LoveBeat where everyone dances it out in a free-for-all, the better the title you get (Cool and WOW) the faster you can get Fever Time which increases your score and has the arrows all red to make it a bit more of a challenge!

Team Surivival - Dancers will form 2 teams (1v1,2v2,3v3,4v4) and battle to elminate each other as they go. Each time your whole Team WOWS! the opisition will be elminated accordingly and your team will be too if they also WOW, the game works on rank order in your team e.g. If both teams wow. both players who have lowest score on their team will be elminated and so on till we get to the final 1v1 which confirms who scores! Elminated players can still play however!)

WowHolic - A mode dedicated to getting WOWs! As you play through the song, you will see a combo multiplier going up the more you WOW, the better the score + combo and chance of getting to the next round (they are 3 altogether, each one increasing your multiplier) if you however lose your combo + multiplier, that gives another dancer a chance to make a comeback!

Two out of Three Fam Battle - Think you FAM has what it takes to become victorious? You can challenge a other FAM in-game to a best out of three challenge (the mode works like Team only its best out of three) and if you win, you gain fam points but if you lose, loss of fam points!

Beat Pang Pang! - Running low on Beats? Well this may just be the mode for you! :) This works similarily to Individual Classic but instead of a Fever Time, you have Beat Time! Beat time is when you get 3 WOWs in a row in order to take the spotlight and gain extra beats to your total! You have to keep WOWing to stay there so if you Cool! Or lower, you are sent back but can take the spotlight again by keeping the WOWs coming in! :)

Meeting Party - Find the person for you here! When your a new player on LoveBeat and looking to make friends, this mode is useful for that too! This mode is designed to find the perfect couple for you! Dancers dance in pairs and have proposal sections during the song, If you WOW male - shows flowers female - blows kiss any title lower than WOW! Will result in: male: shows something other than flowers e.g. vegetable. female - blows stinky breath kiss. You will see on the right a number of how many moves you both will do before your partners change and then the cycle is reapeated until end where u use the F keys to choose your partner!

Couple Pang Pang! - In this mode, you can show off your love for someone or how close you are as friends! In this mode, dancers will form teams of 2 and work together to get to that top spot! Like in Beat Time, get wows (more of a gauge to fill in this one!) and keep the WOW going to get beats only in this mode, its called couple time so it would still continue as long as one person WOWs! The longer the combo, the better the chance you have of winning! Your score is combined along with a overall % of how you did overall with a couple pose to finish off beforehand! :)

Non-Stop Crazy Fancy more of a challenge? Then this mode is for you. This mode still uses Arrows and Space only this time around, there are no breaks in between your line bars, the arrows and spaces will come in at a non-stop pace and the better the combo, the higher the score! You get a x3 multiplier whilst playing this mode.


Friend Zone This mode works like Couple Pang Pang only this mode is more so to show off your friendship! There is a difference with this mode however. You still play in teams of 2 and have a combined score along wiht a pose + friendship % at the end but in this mode, your filling up a green diamond, you do not need to WOW to fill it, other grades will too but WOW is the one that fills this bar up most so you are going to want to try your best to WOW and you and your friedn can own the stage! :) First place on team will do a winners pose and Second will do other pose (different depending on gender!) e.g. Fall down on knees.

Also, you can change from x4 to x8 and have the order of key + space press in a random order, this is for players who also want a bit more of a challenge

Here is where you can choose a map for the room to dance on! If you would like the game to choose, you can leave it at Random but if you want to be dancing on your favourite map, just simply select it and every song you play will be on that! :)




Here you can select which song you would like to play! :) Choose your Stars (up to 10) and bpm (max is 259) for the room, this can be changed after the game too! You can also sort the songs to Top 20, Hot, and newest songs that have recently been added to the game!

Now that you know how to go about playing LoveBeat, lets talk about the Couple System! Here I will do a step by step guide on how to be a couple and then will talk about you can level up together!

Step 1: Go to the Store and gain Level 10 (or Level 20) to get a couple card!
Step 2: Join room where your chosen partner is
Step 3: Click on them and go to "Send Couple Request"
Step 4: They will then get a message saying whether they accept or not and if they do, congrats you are now a couple in LoveBeat! :D


Once you are a couple, you can go to the couple tab in your User Info Section, write up a description and choose your title once they become available! (you get a title to show off next to your name per level up! :) ) You will also have information on how long you have been "dating" and get rewards as long as you stay as a couple!

At the bottom you may of noticed a Basic Jewel, this will vary depending on mode + position in song but this one tends to give the lowest amount! As you level up as couple, you can gain new Jewel's that give extra exp for your Couple Grade! You change them from the drop-down menu and have them for a certain amount of days! You can also buy rings from the store! :)


In addition, LoveBeat now has a marriage system! Rather than having titles you gain differently designed rings to rank up through and have a LoveTree to haverst and gain rewards from! LoveTree is a mini-game where you use left,up,right arrow keys and press them as the shapes go into the circles, you can have normal water and brilliant water which gives more towards your tree which you both share! :)



Another thing to mention is that not all couples work out, LoveBeat has that covered with a Couple Break option (the heart with black zigzag) in Couple Tab via User Info, you can also buy a farewell card in LoveBeat if your partner does not accept Couple Break. Also where you can find the LoveTree, which you can do from the room list screen! :)

Welcome to the FAM System! FAM's are groups that consist of big (or small) groups of people who enjoy playing LoveBeat together! As a FAM you can level the grade up together and gain extra benefits from doing so! e.g. more fam space, change fam name colour, +exp&beats etc.

You can apply to a fam via someones User Info or the FAM Master/an admin can too! Once your in the FAM you will have access to FAM chat where you can all chat in your own room of sorts!

Do daily attendance for FAM contributions, most leaders will promote you to a higher rank if you are an active player and contribute so many points! These are the members they put the most trust in! :) If you would like to build your own fam, you can do so by going to the Store and finding the "Create FAM" card (2000 beats which is found in "General")


As mentioned previously in "Modes", you can also FAM battle for points towards your fam grade but can lose too and you do have a Win/Lose Ratio aswell!

Another way you can gain points is by playing together, you get an extra +30 points if you have 8 fam members of the same playing Wow-o-Holic!

Gain extra gifts in LoveBeat via the Playing Gauge! Each dancer has a guage with 5 Steps that they can fill up just by simply playing LoveBeat and staying on it for a length of time! Once you stay/play for the given time, a message will come on saying your ready to collect from gauge. Once in User Info, you will see that your gauge is now full and the present icon is no longer grayed out, click on present and then you have your rewards! :D (a mix of exp and beats, the longer you stay the more you get!) This is also a great way to level up and gain beats to spend in the store! :)

Welcome to LoveBeat Store! Here you can customise your avatar to make them look awesome & unique! There are many items of clothing + accessories to choose from and lots added per update! :) You can buy a lot of items for beats though a lot of the best items in the game tend to be cash items which you can buy through Steam Funds! You can also buy other items such as: CoupleCard, LoveWater(if married), emotes, VIP rooms, chat balloons, pets etc. You will also have choice of how many days you want clothing items or to permanent which will cost you more! You can use discount coupons here to make them a bargain price! :) max you can get from stamp rewards is 70% but CrazyDiamond now and again give out 90%-100% in general so keep an eye out for them! :) Enjoy your time browsing the store and once you have items you would like to buy, go to your Shopping Cart and checkout! :D The items will be in your inventory/mail once bought!
