Here's a breakdown of resource locations:
CA is the only place with Gold.
TX is the only place with Uranium.
WV is the only place with Coal.
There is no Aluminum.
Oil is only found in AK, and a string that goes from ND to TX.
There is few Iron, placed across the map.
HI has no resources.
DC has no resources.
The South is nearly 70% Cotton.
New England, WA, and OR are mostly Forest, with Deer and Furs.
Horses are everywhere.
Fish is everywhere.
Whales are everywhere.
Crabs are all over the coast of MA, RI, and CT.
