Description
This mod adds the RPD, from Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Remastered, for anyone that can wield heavy weapons.

FEATURES
  • You can apply camo and custom colors to the weapon.
  • Custom sounds from Modern Warfare 2.
  • You can configure the mod to your liking.
  • You can upgrade the weapon to magnetic and beam tiers.
  • Custom model for the aim and crit bonus.
KNOWN ISSUES
  • I've reduced most of the texture from 2048x2048 to 1024x1024, saving everyone some memory. Honestly, there isn't any reason to use 2048x2048 and bigger for weapons.
  • I've disabled the rest of the attachments, since there aren't any models for those.
TODO
  • Fix some bugs, if any.
  • Port more weapons.

Dear everyone,

I'm sorry to say this, but I probably won't update my weapon mods since my work on the inevitable weapon megapack is nearly complete. However, this statement might change later in the future if I decide that progress on the weapon megapack is going nowhere.

Sorry for the inconvenience...

I'll look into it in the future.

Thanks for your help and clarification. I will be changing the file to zero for now. =)
I'm not very knowledgable about how things work but is it possible to trigger your mod weapons to upgrade tiers when the similar vanilla weapon is upgradded? That way it wouldn't interfer with the game balance for buying upgrades. Also, it would make it so I could upgrade once but still have "cosmetic" choices for my soldiers' primary weapons. Thanks!

Here's some additional info.
1 and 2. You can change the research requirements to zero if you don't feel like paying the fee and the weapon stats, by going to steamapps\workshop\content\268500\801601120\Config and edit the ini from there.
3. You can remove the crit stat, but good luck getting any critical shots in. It'll also invalidate any abilities that adds addtional chance to crit hit, since you just removed the crit stat for the weapon.

1. I'll have to merge them all into one pack before this becomes possible to do.
2. Yes
3. The default weapons have this stat, but it never tells you that the weapon has a crit stat.

E3245,
I have a couple questions, but first, great work. I love your mods.
Q1 - I subscribed to this and "M249 SAW - Redux Edition :: CoD4: Modern Warfare Remastered" but they both have independent upgrades to T2 and T3. Is there a way to have all the Grenadier primary weapons upgrade at the same time including the vanilla weapon? (I dont want to spend all the resources to upgrade all individually)
Q2 - Do you release your weapons with default stats (dmg, acc, ammo, etc) identical to the vanilla weapons for each tier?
Q3 - What is the "Crit" stat that I see in game? The vanilla weapons dont have this.
Thanks in advance!

Awesome weapons. Maybe one day you could make Alien Blaster from Fallout 1?

Love you, handsome :-*
Thank you for very fast response.
But can you also fix RPKn?
