Material Stats
Almost every gathered or harvested item is of a Quality level from T0 to T4 and has material bonuses for crafted items.

Material Stats: (Left to right)
First row:
Attack bonus
Defence bonus
Gathering/Harvest bonus
Crafting Quality bonus

Second row:
Decay rate bonus (reduces or increases decay?)
Healing affect bonus
Cold Resistance bonus
Heat Resistance bonus

When crafting items, one should always think of these material stats as parts are assembled for the overall item to be crafted. All of these parts will contribute to the final stats of the crafted item as long as they are a unique type. For more infomation on this continue reading.

Crafting Items
Basic Crafting window will allow one to to pick the tier of the item to be potenially added automatically. Select the Advanced tab to allow one to choose the parts to insert.

ADVANCED Crafting

Beginner's Sword

3x Blade (bone, wood, metal)
1x Handle
1x Twine

Blades are made of Metal, stone, or fossil.
Handles are made from either Wooden Shafts or Metail Ingots.
Twine is made of Fiber which is made of organic material like leaves, reeds, cotton and so on.

In the example below, I have added all Steel blades Electrum handle and Twine made from leaves.

Notice the attack bonus for this all Steel blade with an electrum handle +4.3.

In the example below, I have added 3 drifferent Blades, Steel, Plated Tin and Crown Gold. I used the same electrum handle and twine from leaves.

Notice the attack bonus for this all Steel blade +8.0.

More to come!

Platen Tin Saw you made is T10, but has very low bonuses. Action bonus is high, not sure what it does tho(speed?), but I assume it's based on tier anyway.

most important aspect of crafting tools is that the mats bonuses don't stack with the same mats. Let's say you need 2 blades and a handle. Don't craft all in steel as it will not stack the steel bonus but only one 'layer' of bonus. Rather, you want to craft 1 blade in steel, 1 in iron(or whatever has highest dmg) and the handle can be plain wood like cedar for better durability. It's counter intuitive but the cedar handle will give you a better bonus than a metal one. Always mix your crafting parts with different mats, you will then stack the bonuses. If you put 2 of the same, you lose bonuses, gl!

there is also a trick to create better metal tools. f.ex. If you need 2 blades, create each from different alloy. As it is(17.10.2017) this will give you the sum of material bonuses. This is interesting, cause 2 blades made from 1 alloy does not give double the benefit.
